Axel's birthday part 2

"Hey pop can you watch Axel while i head into town to get some last minute presents for the party?" Courtney asks Harry 

"Sure I can" Harry says to her 

Courtney sneaks out of the house to get the last minute present cause she wanted to break the news to Axel that way cause he won't be able to understand what is going on quite yet cause he is going to be two so she wanted to ease Axel into the big brother role slowly and see if he would like to give the new baby his crib

"Okay what to get" she says as she grabs a shopping cart to get the items that she needed cause she was going to give Skylar a present and break the news to him that was that she was in fact pregnant and they were going to have two kids running around the house 

Courtney heads to one aisle to get a chalkboard to write something about another power ranger joining the mix soon cause Axel was into power rangers  

"Next shirt that says big brother" she says as she heads that way to get the shirt that she was looking for that was going to be the perfect fit for Axel 

Courtney looks until she finds the perfect shirt for him and one that he will wear when the baby comes cause he was probably going to outgrow his other shirt by the time that the baby comes 

"Okay now to get something to him from the baby" she says as she goes and looks at power rangers and what the baby could give it's big brother as a birthday present 

Courtney spots the perfect present for Axel from the baby 

"Axel is going to love this" she says as she goes to the party aisle to get some more wrapping paper and some extra's for the party just in case 

"I should get some books too to help him understand better" she says as she heads to where the books were cause Axel loved to read, and it will help him understand all about being a big sibling

"I should get something for Skylar cause I will break the news to him tonight after Axel goes to bed" she says as she looks at what she could get to tell Skylar the news that she is pregnant with their first child 

Once Courtney got what she wanted she headed to check out to go home with what she got for the party

"Axel is watching power rangers right now so you can wrap his present" Harry says to Courtney when she came into the house with the gifts that she got for the party 

"Thanks I will and then once he goes down for a nap I will decorate some more for the party then it is party time" she says as she heads up to get the presents wrapped cause she didn't want Axel to see what he was getting from the baby 

Courtney had the present wrapped quickly and she came down to give Axel some food and get him fed before down time cause she needed to get the house decorated in time for the party and tell Skylar the news that he is going to be a dad to a little one in a couple of months 

"Is that good buddy?" she asks as Axel continues to have lunch that day 

He nods as he continues to have lunch 

"That's good" she says as she starts decorating the house a little bit cause Louis went to get the balloons for the party as well as the streamers to decorate the house for the party 

Axel was finish with his lunch and he started to get sleepy a little bit

"Are you ready for down time buddy?" she asks as she cleans up the mess from lunch 

"Yes mama" he says to her 

"Okay come on we can go up and cuddle and mama will read to you, and tuck you in" she says as she picks Axel up to carry him upstairs 

Axel laid his head on her shoulder as he was being carried up to his room 

"When you wake up buddy it will be party time papa going to grill out and we are going to have hot dogs and hamburgers, and we will open presents" she says as she sits in the rocking chair with him cause he is getting bigger and she won't be able to rock him much longer cause her belly is going to grow and he will be going to preschool, and that means getting fitted for a new leg that will help him cause he is starting to outgrow the one he has now  

Courtney loved this time she got to spend with her little boy. Courtney then started to read peter pan to Axel in the rocking chair. After she had finished reading Axel was asleep. She picked him up in his arms and laid him down in his big boy bed.

"I love you baby boy. See you in a bit for your party" Courtney says and kisses his forehead. She then turns on his night light and leaves the door half open and heads downstairs. to start to decorate for the party 

Before Courtney headed downstairs she looked at which room could work for the baby's room cause she wanted that started as soon as possible there was a lot to be done before the new baby comes into the family 

"You okay sweetie?" Harry asks her when he came up 

"Just thinking is all dad cause my life is going to change a lot when the baby comes" she says as she looks down at her flat stomach 

"Yes it will but we are going to be here every step of the way with you" Harry says as he hugs her close

"Thanks dad" she says as she lays on him
