A fun day at the park (not)

Axel and I were having a day out with the twins while Skyler had to work. My dads offered to babysit but they have their hands full with all my siblings.
Axel and I have just arrived at the park since I promised him a fun day while daddy worked. I mean we got to save up as much as we can if we want to get married. I have offered to get a job but Skyler is being stubborn and said no.
"Mommy! I go play!" Axel said anxious to go over to the swings as I carried his siblings in a twin carrier on my body.
"Okay. Okay" I say with a laugh.
I bent down to him and made sure his coat was zipped and shoes were tied.
"Come on mommy! I play!" Axel whined
"Okay but stay where I can see you" I say and kiss his cheek.
"I will!" Axel said and ran off near the slide.
I know he's young but he's so independent which scares me sometimes.
I watched him from a far but in seeing distance. I held the twins as I watched Axel, Ariella was asleep and Kellen was awake and sucking his thumb. I can't believe it's been 6 months since they were born. Time sure does fly. If time flies that means Blake will be out soon.
Tears came to my eyes as I thought of him. That monster! How could he do that to me! Don't get me wrong I love Axel to death but he is a constant reminder of what Blake did. Am I even a good mother? I mean he was born without a leg. Did I do something wrong when I was pregnant with him? I'm so frustrated.
"Hello my dear" I hear someone say and that snaps me out of my thoughts.
"Hell-" I almost said hello to be kind but when I saw who it was fear struck my body. B-but how? I thought he was supposed to be in jail!
