CHAPTER 6 - Beachin'

PERSEUS JACKSON'S POV

(Some big bad stuff....)

We went to the beach when we woke up. I've decided to bring my surfboard and my guitar. Well, before that we ate breakfast; which consist of blue pancakes and blue orange juice. They were talking about how good Jason sung, while Leo bragged about singing in the shower.

I looked at Annabeth, she was thinking of something. I poked her. "What are you thinking?" I whispered to her. She looked at me and shrugged. "I don't know, how good looking Josh- I mean you are..." she said. I frowned when she quickly replaced Joshua to me. I forgot her compliment because I was focused on how she was still thinking of that Hephaestus scum. No offense Leo.

"Uh Percy..."

"Percy" someone repeated.

"PERCY!" Leo screamed which made me jump out of the chair.

I scowled at him "What Leo..." I asked. He rolled his eyes and gestured outside. The others were going out. And I was the only one left. "Oh thanks." I mumbled. He grinned and ran to catch up to them. I grabbed my reggae guitar, my surfboard and ran off.

When I placed my things in the hut near the shore, I forgot that I was not wearing any swim suit. I groaned and ran back to the house.

I took of my pajamas (masculine ones.) and my boxers, and then the door suddenly opened. THE DOOR I FORGOT ABOUT THE DOOR. It revealed a shocked looking Annabeth; she shrieked and covered her eyes. When I realized that I was nude I quickly covered myself. But I tripped and fell on top of Annabeth.

We were shocked for a few seconds, she was red as a fire truck and so was I. Then... no you dirty little children I certainly didn't take advantage on this. I rolled over and quickly wore my swimming trunks.

"Never, ever tell this to anybody" I said, still blushing. She nodded and walked away. I grabbed hold of her right arm. "Did you enjoy the show?" I whispered to her, she blushed even harder and slapped my arm. I laughed at her. I bit my lower lip and winked. She blushed even more. I chuckled and ran towards her.

I carried her bridal style, and ignored all her complaints. She hit me on the shoulder five times while yelling my name. She was opened her mouth to say something, but she hesitated then started to open her mouth again. "If you don't drop me now, I won't kiss you for the whole year." I stopped dead on my tracks and dropped her of gently. She smirked and leaned in, but she went the other way and ran off.

When I finally catch up to her, I pulled her arms and kissed her. "Revenge." I said simply; and ran off towards Jason and the gang. I saw Jason reading a manga, One-Punch Man. Leo was arguing with Piper about vegetarians and meat lovers. I rolled my eyes and sat down in the sand. I grabbed my guitar and pounded it so I can get the attention of the gang. When they finally look at me I smiled, "I made a song about this vacation" I started and strummed my guitar.

Its another firey afternoon (so hot, so hot)

So we should go beach now (cool down)

We wore our shades and ran to the shore.

The waters looking nice and blue (so blue, so blue)

And the waves are fire'en getting higher and
better even as we speak

Surf and ride some more

Then we laughed.

We sat back down, and listened to the waves. Nico waved and placed down a bowl full of skittles. "Were gonna play 'Never have I ever'" He said. We all agreed and sat in circles.

"I'll start, never have I ever... seen a man's southern part." Leo said, grinning. Like he knows the girls won't eat the delish skittles. I smirked and ate one skittles, so did the other boys.

Annabeth blushed and took one. They all looked at her in shock, as I blushed and pretended that I was not listening.

"W-w-why did you---"Piper started. "It was totally and accident" Annabeth and I said together. We blushed as they stared at us even with more shock. Their jaws dropped.

"When did it happen?" Hazel asked quietly, knowing that her brain just exploded.

"When I was in the house changing my swim trunks, she barged in. not knowing that I was nude." I reasoned. Teasing in 3, 2, 1....

Leo laughed his buttocks off. "Y-you... forgot to... lock the door."He said while between laughs.

"It was an accident." I whined. Annabeth glared at him and he shut up immediately.

"Any ways.... Never have I ever fell inlove." Grover said, changing the subject. We all ate the skittles.

"Never have I ever... sung." Hazel said. Calypso, Grover, Nico, Will and Frank ate one skittles.

"Never have I ever, seen the girl's southern parts." Piper said. The girls ate theirs. I thought about it for a moment. And took one skittles.

"Explain." Piper glared.

"Uh--- it was the time, when Annabeth was complaining about crushes, and I was bored so...." I trailed off.

"So what??" Jason asked. I was about to open, when Annabeth punched my stomach.

"Owww...." I groaned. Annabeth came closer to me and whispered, "Please don't say it."

I sighed in relief and smiled at them... "You know what; I didn't recall that... false alarm."

"Cheater." Leo grumbled. We continued playing until we ran out of skittles.

We took our surfing boards and ran to the water. We waited for the waves to come... 3 minutes later we were still waiting.

"Percy we—"Jason started. "I KNOW, FINE." I burst.

"You could have done it 3 minutes ago." Calypso grumbled. I turned to her and stuck my tongue out.

I took some deep breaths and concentrated. I dipped my hands into the water. Waves, I thought. Then I felt the familiar tug in my stomach. Waves started to come in and we cheered.

I went first and rode the wave without breaking any sweat. I swam back to them and grinned. They cheered and started to ride their own waves.

After hours of having fun we went back to the house and called dibs on the shower... But I was clean because I washed off sand while I was on the water and willed myself to dry. I wore a white shirt and broad shorts and sea-green flip-flops.

I went to the living room to play GTA V, but Annabeth beat me to it. She watched this television series about zombies and the survivors just walked around all episode. I plopped next to her in the couch and laid my head on her laps. She pushed it off and rolled her eyes. "We are not boyfriend and girlfriend, Percy, you said it yourself." She said and transferred into another seat. I chuckled at her and stared into her.

I really like her. But I'm not prepared to love her ... yet.
