11: DATE

I'm inlove with her I'm inlove with her, I'm inlove with her, I'm inlove with her I'm inlove with her.

I'm inlove with Wise Girl.

That's what I was thinking after the viewing was done, lying in my bunk, staring at the other bunk and thinking it. I'm inlove with her, my brain said. It no longer denies it. My heart is beating widely, as if saying: Finally! About time you realized. But I kept rejecting it. After those countless times that I've convinced myself that I've moved on, it was just pushed away and my feelings is getting stronger.

I'm inlove with her, I thought again. I wonder what she thought when the viewing was done. Does she love me or it's just me being stupid.

I want her to know that. I can't take it anymore. I want her to know that I am inlove with her again.

I sighed, even though there are a lot of fish in the sea. I still think of her, she will never, ever be replaced. Maybe Aphrodite is behind this. Maybe she made me fall inlove with my best friend. But it doesn't feel like it. It felt natural, like I was drawn to it.

I closed my eyes, trying to think on what to do. I want to publicly announce that to her. But she doesn't like the attention. I want it to be sweet and natural.

This is the most un-Percy thing that I have ever done. But I'm inlove; people do crazy things for love.

I decided that I'm going to give her a date; a regular, mortal date. Yeah, I'll go on that.

I looked under my bed, and started looking for it. I saw it and picked it up.

Blowing of the dust of the box, I grew more anxious. What if she will reject me like the last time? What if she doesn't feel the same? What if... What if....

I sighed and opened the box; inside of it is a roll of mortal cash that I have saved up. I smiled weakly and went to the water fountain.

I tossed a coin and muttered a prayer, "Oh Fleecy, do me a solid. Call Jacob, Monter Resto."

The mist shimmered and revealed a middle-aged man.

"Hey Jacob!" I said with a grin. He looked around until he saw me and plastered a hug smile, "Percy! What do you need my friend?"

If you're confused, Jacob is one of the few living demigods who aged to 30. He's a son of Demeter, so it explains a lot with the restaurant.

"Well, I would like a reservation, for two... If you can" I said sheepishly. He raised his eyebrows and smirked. "Ooooh, you're bringing a lady friend, eh? Well then, Sure! I would love to help a friend of mine." He grinned and wrote it down.

"So you'll go in seven p.m., yeah?" He asked. I nodded. We talked for a while and ended the conversation, since he was busy with his work.

I sighed in relief, which was soon replaced by nervousness. Okay, next step. Ask Annabeth out.

I walked around to look for Annabeth, I saw her with... Joshua. Her face was unreadable from the distance. But as I walked closely I can see her scowl and her stormy grey eyes getting darker by the minute.

I stopped where I am, as she screamed at Josh, "I DON'T WANT TO! BESIDES, I'VE ALREADY FELL INLOVE WITH SOMEONE ELSE."

My heart stopped. She has already fallen with someone else. I feel like crying, but I didn't. I was trying to thing for the possibilities that I might be that one, since I was the one who's at her side always. Chances were slim, like me asking her out. But I'll risk it.
