CHAPTER 8 – APOLLO-GIZE

PERCY JACKSON POV:

I woke up because of the Conch horn blowing; its breakfast. Good the harpies didn't eat me yet. I trudged back to my cabin to change, I took a refreshing shower. I thought about what happened yesterday

I felt back yelling at Annabeth... I should apologize to her, I came up with a plan with the Apollo cabin. It took hours for me to memorize the lyrics and harmonizing it. We came up with 2 songs so far. And I was ready to apologize to her.

When I was near the Apollo table, I took the chance to glance at Annabeth. She was terrible. She had tear-stained cheeks and she was looking down at her food. But when she heard giggles at the Aphrodite cabin, she frowned and narrowed her eyes, now she was glaring at the food.

I sighed and continued walking to the Apollo table. We discussed it and agreed on meeting at the creek to practice.

After I was done practicing, Apollo was almost done riding his sun chariot. And boy! I was tired.

I saw Annabeth and walked up to her, forgetting we had a fight, She rolled her eyes and turned back. Then I remembered. I blushed and ran back to my cabin.

We ate dinner and to the sing along. When we were done we secretly set upped a little stage near the Athena cabin. Yes I, Percy, will serenade for her; for apologizing of course.

When Annabeth saw the little stage, she glared at me and marched back to her cabin. I sighed and signaled them to light up the Athena cabin. Of course I asked Athena for her Permission. Fortunately, she agreed. She must have been on a very good mood.

I inhaled great amounts of air and hoped for the best. I turned on my microphone; "Annabeth Chase, will you please come out of your cabin and see this." I stuttered.

After a few minutes, she didn't come out. I sighed and turned my microphone back on. "You leave me no choice. Nico, go" I said, and Nico immediately shadow traveled her in-front of the stage. I grinned and signaled the Apollo cabin to cue the music

I risked a glance at Annabeth who was still glaring at me. Nico was holding her and not letting her go, so she had no choice but to listen to me.. I smirked and continued to sing:

I bowed at the audience and looked at Annabeth. "I'm sorry" I mouthed to her. Her curls were falling to her face. I stepped to her and brushed off her curls. Nico released her, and she immediately hugged me tightly. "Too tight." I wheezed. She let go of me and I went back to the stage. Then I prepared to sing the next song.
