CHAPTER 18: LONGING

Leo's Fabulous PoV

Leo was fiddling with his nuts and bolts, he did that when he gets nervous. The contest aired in the entire world. Leo and his friends; Percy, Jason and Frank were tapping their foot in anticipation. Leo glanced at Annabeth's group, who were calmly sitting in a couch . Calypso and Hazel were laughing about something.

He scowled. They're lucky they forfeited when there was a chance, Leo thought. Leo shifted his glance to Calypso, who was chatting with Piper. He still remember when he came back with from Ogygia.

Festus landed with Leo and Calypso in his back. The guys were cheering. But when Percy was trudging to see what's going on. He gasped and tried to hide from Calypso. Naturally, Calypso saw him and march to him. Calypso stood up straighter, acting friendly, which Leo found suspicious. But when Percy responded BAM Calypso kicked Percy in the sensitive spot for men. Percy was singing Tenor for 30 minutes straight. It's alright now though, they're cool and forgot about the incident. Well, except Leo. He's keeping that video tape for blackmail

Leo snapped out of his reverie when the announcer announced his Group's name, One-click Demigods. Leo found it kind of boring. First, they weren't OCD and they don't do One-click. But since it was a last minute name, they just used it.

Leo and the guys walked up the stage and sat in high-chairs. Their rival group, Devils -were mixed with dudes and dudettes.( Leo didn't see them as the real threat though) were sitting across from Leo and his friends.

Annabeth and Piper were called, they walked up to Leo and His friends and sat with them. Not before glaring at the girl who had an affair with Annabeth's ex-boyfriend.

"Okay!" The announcer said, "The people have voted for you, guys. The whole world voted on who's gonna be the finalists" The announcer said with a dramatic pause.

"The one that I will mention, will.be.eliminated." He said again, Leo resisted the urge to roll his eyes.

A lovely woman walked in the stage. She's pretty, but it's nothing with Calypso, Leo thought.

She handed the golden envelope to the announcer, who smiled flirtatiously. When the woman turned around, she made a gagging motion into our group. Leo and his friends snickered, the announcer glared at them and opened the envelope.

"The one, who will be not in the next round" He looked at Frank, who nodded and walked to the drum set. Then he did a dark drum roll.

"Devils! Congratulations Last Girls and One-Click Demigods! You are qualified for the finals!" He said, The crowd went wild. Leo grinned and hugged his friends one at a time.

When they came down, Leo was tackled by Calypso. "I'M SO PROUD OF YOU." She said, a proud expression in her face. Leo grinned and kissed Calypso.

"IT'S IN NEXT MONTH! WE CAN GO BACK TO CAMP!" Percy exclaimed, obviously excited on going back home.

THE NEXT DAY

Leo finally plopped down into his bed and slept. Leo figured that save his energy for the victory party tonight.

And so he slept.

NICO'S POV (DIDN'T EXPECT DAT DO YOU ;3)

When Nico was possessed, a burden has been lifted from his chest. When he expressed himself in front of his friends, something has happened to Nico. It felt good on letting your emotions pour out in singing. Nico didn't admit it yet. But he has always been a good singer. Bianca and Nico used to sing in karaoke's in Lotus Hotel and Casino.
