Visiting Sojin became an everyday occurence for Jackson. Yes, it was a quite long drive to Daegu, but he didn't mind. He wanted to be there to support Sojin while she was in the hospital, as she knew how much the girl had always feared medical things, and he knew how scared she was to be there.
Today was the fifth day he'd visited her. He was humming a tune lightly as he pulled into the now familiar parking lot of the hospital. He made his way inside, greeting the receptionist with a smile. He walked into Sojin's room with a big stuffed teddy bear and a chocolate bar in his hands.
"Good morning," He said with a gentle smile as he saw Sojin's face light up as he entered the room.
"Good morning Jackson, aw, are those for me?" She asked with a happy grin as she saw what Jackson was carrying.
"No, I just thought the girl in the room next door would like some candy and a teddy bear, not everything is for you, you spoiled little brat," Jackson teased with a light chuckle as he walked over to the bed, sitting down on the chair beside it. Sojin was pouting at his teasing.
"Yah, you're such a meanie," She whined but her whining ended as the fluffy bear was placed in her arms.
"Aish you know I'm teasing," Jackson replied with a light laugh as he set the candy bar on the nightstand. "Have they done any tests or anything this morning?" He inquired with a light tilt of his head as he began to lightly play with Sojin's hair. He'd twist the strands together, and try to braid them. It was a habit he'd always had when he was with Sojin, it was just natural, he supposed, that he'd kept that habit.
"They haven't done too much this morning, they did put another IV in my stomach though," Sojin replied with a pout as she pointed to the needle poking up from under her hospital gown.
"I'm sorry I wasn't here with you when they put that in, Jinnie. But I see you managed to get through it by yourself," Jackson replied, slightly proud with a smile.
"Hardly, I almost cried," Sojin whined as she leaned back against the pillow. Jackson felt bad for Sojin, she really did hate the hospital quite a lot, and it was evident by the way she handled getting injections or having tests taken.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Jackson replied as he took hold of Sojin's hand, squeezing it lightly. Her other arm was wrapped comfortably around her new teddy bear.
"It's okay Jack, you know it's not your job to be here with me, you don't have to come all the way over here to see me everyday, there's things more important than me," Sojin replied voice soft as she lightly squeezed Jackson's hand.
"I know I don't have to, but I want to. I want to visit you everyday til you get better," He replied with a stubborn nod and a cheeky grin.
"Or until I die, more like it.." Sojin said in a quiet whisper as she looked down to her lap.
Jackson quickly shook his head, hand moving to tilt Sojin's chin up so that he could meet meet her eyes. "I will not take this kind of negativity from you Sojin, you here me? You are not going to die, so I don't want to hear you saying that, ever. Okay?" Jackson told her, voice stern, but somehow filled with the utmost care.
"Okay," She replied, voice quiet and soft as she looked into Jackson's deep brown eyes.
And then Jackson leaned forward to surround Sojin in a comfortable hug, careful not to touch any of her IV's as he did so, leaving a light peck to her head.

Mark was a tad worried, to say the very least about it, when he found that at about 6am every morning, Jackson would wake up, get dressed, and leave the house to go to some place undisclosed to Mark.
Jackson had never been a morning person, not a day that Mark had known Jackson had he willingly woken up early. But now he was, and that was suspicious to Mark.
Yes, Mark trusted Jackson with all his heart, as Jackson had most definitely proven to him that he was worthy of that trust. But something was going on, and he wanted to know what it was.
It didn't seem like it could be something too terrible. Mark had already marked a couple of the possible options off of his mental list of suspicions.
He knew Jackson wasn't cheating on him or anything like that. Jackson knew better than that, Mark knew, and there was no way that you would plan to go to partake in some kind of secret love affair at 6am.
He also knew that it wasn't because Jackson was upset with him for any reason. When Jackson was home, he was the same as he's always been. Caring, affectionate, loving. His attitude towards Mark hadn't changed.
He was still very much in love with Mark and Mark was still very much in love with him, that hadn't changed in the slightest.
He would still shower Mark with kisses, and snuggle him tight in his arms at night. He'd still take Mark on movie or dinner dates in the evenings. Everything was lovely in that sense.
Mark knew Jackson wasn't going to school early for obvious reasons. He just knew his boyfriend too well to think that he would wake up there hours early to go to school of all places.
But despite all these things that Mark knew it wasn't, he couldn't help but to wonder what it was, and why Jackson seemed to not want to tell him about it. Whenever Mark mentioned it the subject was always abruptly changed to something else completely unrelated to the questions Mark always asked with the utmost curiousity.
There was nothing he could do, though, until Jackson decided to open up to him about it. And he was going to give him his time, because he trusted Jackson, and he knew that whatever it was, he'd come around to telling him at some point.
As long as his Jackson was still the same as he'd always been, Mark was fine.
