> Kill me now.

At least that way I won't be able to witness my best friend making small talk with Archer Sloane . Are my eyes deceiving me?

I opened them.

No, I guess not. No, my best friend is still a crazy chick that thinks my big brother is her one. Nope, My next door neighbor is still a brain-dead skater dude. I looked down at myself just to make sure I magically haven't been turned into a skinny blond. Nope, I'm still the fat brunette with empire state thighs and flat chest. Great, that's just great. I'm still 30 pounds over weight.

When will my stupid wishes come true?

"I didn't know Marissa had such a cute neighbor."-Sadie gave archer a once over, and cracked a mischievous smirk.-"I didn't even know that they had a skate park around here. isn't that true...um...whats your name again?"

Archer glanced over her shoulder and gave me a nervous look. By the way his lips curled into a frown, I could tell that he heard the bizarre rumors about her. Could it be that Sadie is imitating him? I could tell he was uncomfortable but, Sadie continued to push onto him.

Asking him questions like if he was single. Which, he answered a yes. When she asked why. He replied because he was waiting for someone. When she asked who, he said someone different.

What is Sadie up to? Whatever it is, it can't be good.

"Um, I don't believed you answered my question...what do you mean by...different?"-Sadie crossed her arms impatiently and waited for archer to respond-"Are you saying that all of us girls are the same?"

Uh- oh, Sadie's gone into detective mode. Something please, please fall from the sky and kill me now!

"Um, no, Uh, I never meant it like that.Yo, I waz jus' say'in that boyz don't always care about girls loo's."Archer bit his lip, and placed his hand over his heart."Its really on the inside what matters." Then, he looked straight at me, and I saw a hint of gold sparks glimmer in his hazel eyes. I shivered at his words, and it got my heart racing.

Who knew that someone so low in grammar skills, can be so poetic? I would have never expected that those words come out of...archer's mouth. Out of all mouths, I have to hear it from him! Why can't I hear it come out of chase Duncan's mouth?

"So, who's the special girl?" Sadie continued, looking even more impatient and placing her hands on her hips

"I wish I knew." Archer said in a tight smile, still looking at me. "I really wish I knew."

Just at that moment my cellphone rang, I blushed in embarrassment when 'hollaback Girl' blasted out of my cell speaker's and archer started to crack up."Is that GWEN STEFANI, Pizza-face? I can't believe you still listen to that song!"

I ignored his rude comment about Gwen stefani's utter awesomeness and answered the phone call.  "Hello, who is it?" To be honest I was kinda surprised, the only losers who ever call me is my parents,Sadie, and Brian who only call's to ask me for some money. I snorted, some brother.

> "Hey, Hot-stuff how its going? I hope you don't have any plans tonight, cus' I've set up a romantic game of dungeons and dragons. Whad'da ya say? You, me and a hot, steamy, pepperoni pizza."-The high pitched voice spoke, I could almost swear it was a girl's.-"You know you want to."

I told everyone to excuse me for a second, turned my back and gave that kid a piece of my mind.

"Get off me,Dexter! How did you even get my new phone number, anyway? I thought I had just changed it."-Ugggh, why doesn't he just get a life and leave me alone? Like, seriously. I bet there are millions of desperate girls that LOVE'D to have a creep like Dexter chasing them around like stalkers.
