Taken Everything For Granted

This poem was just for fun and was supposed to be for a school project. But then again, describing me, I'm lazy and I couldn't pass it on time.

So this is about families and about well-- the title itself pretty much sums up everything about this poem.

So I hope you'll enjoy it.

Oh and sorry if some words aren't so artistic, this one is one of my firsts before I aspired to be a writer.

Taken Everything For Granted

I have a sister,
she loves me for who I am,
I have a brother,
he loves me for who I am,

I always ask them around,
I order them to do chores,
I order them to dig on the ground,
I even order them to wax the floor!

I have a mother,
Who takes care of the family,
I have a father,
Who's got a job that is not that easy,

I have a dog,
Who's always by my side,
I left her alone,
On her grave she lied,

I learned the lesson,
A very valuable lesson,
I lost one member of my family,
And I am forever guilty,

For what I have done,
Consequences have begun,
I took everything for granted,
I took everyone for granted,

Am I going to lose another?
Mother?
Father?
Sister?
Or a
Brother?
