It just learned how to compromise.
This poet's heart isn't mistrustful,
It just learned how to be prudent.
This poet's heart isn't fearful,
It just learned how to be logical.
This poet's heart isn't cold,
It just learned how to supress its emotions.
This poet's heart isn't unexpressive,
It just learned how to cover its mouth.
This poet's heart isn't uncompassionate,
It just learned how to be rational.
This poet's heart isn't apathetic,
Its sympathy was just pillaged.
This poet's heart isn't inconsiderate,
It just has mitigations to protect itself.
This poet's heart isn't filthy or crude,
It just doesn't know right from wrong.
This poet's heart isn't empty forever,
It just waits for you to fill it with love.

My emotions are getting me stressed.
It's very confusing when you assess your feelings for someone.
I'm scared, not for me, but for him.
I might hurt him when I confess to him and then just tell him that I wasn't serious.
He's straight though, but even so, he has feelings and they're very impulsive.
I snooped around his reflection papers (yeah, I know it's bad xD) and he said he felt out of place and he struggles to fit in, but he's doing better now.
It's sad to think that he needs to fit in.
It's sad that I can't comfort him and convince him that he was born to stand out.
