Different But Loved

Chapter 17

Opening my eyes I look at the wall to see the orange sun. I must of fallen a sleep. Sitting up I can tell that the sun is about to set.  Yawning I turn to my side and see Lorenzo looking at me.

"Hi." I gasp as he catches me by surprise, giving him a smile I sit back up from the bed.

I'm happy for some reason. I just don't know why. I feel so relaxed, I think it was because me and Lorenzo went to the pond. I have never ever seen a pond so beautiful. I hear my stomach growl and I look up at the door.

"Where is Iwan?" I ask as I get out of the bed. I hear my back pop as a stretch. Gosh that felt good.

"There was an emergency that he needed to attend." I watch as he stands up and head to my direction. His suit hugging his muscles. I was sort of scared of him since I seen him hurt a woman but he has been so nice to me.

He now stands in front of me, and I could smell his cologne which smells really good.

"Could you maybe take me out of this house.... To eat?" I wanted maybe some fast-food. I wasn't allow to eat it since it makes me sick but I didn't care. You only live once right?

He smiles and nods his head. "Anything for you." I blushed at his words. I was never allowed to talk to any boys and since I no longer live under Jason rules I have talked to a few.

Woah you're now a bada**

We both head our way downstairs. I look at him and smile. Before he could open the door, the door is slammed opened by an unknown man. I stayed calm thinking it was one of the men who worked here so I went a head and said hi to him.

I was wrong. Dead wrong.

He has a really big gun in his hand and he points it directly to me.

A loud bang is heard from beside me and the mans blood is splattered all over my face. I close my eyes and watch as his lifeless body falls at my feet.

I yep and hear Lorenzo talking to God know who.

He quickly shuts the door and rushes me back up stairs. As we hit the top of the stairs gun shots are heard and at that moment I ran.

We get in Iwan's room and he locks the door. He turns around and checks his gun. He looks at me and heads to the closet signaling me to follow.

My heart is racing and I'm afraid that I'm going to pee myself.

As a young adult, I get scared easily.

Lorenzo pushes something behind the suit racked and the wall slids to the left.

A hidden room.

"Grab my hand, you'll be safe." He calmly says and I do as he says.

We go in and to the left there are some stairs. We go down and it takes a while before I start seeing a door.

He opens it and it leads to a room. White walls, two small tables that can fit four people, two couches and on the side of the wall are a lot of water bottles.

We get inside and he guilds me to a couch

"Breath Maya." He says as he cups my cheeks.

At that moment I didn't know I was holding my breath in. I inhale and I felt myself calm a bit, but my heart still raced.

Lorenzo took out his phone and called someone.

I couldn't understand him since he was speaking Russian. His voice was deep and confusing that I only heard him say 'da' so any times.  The only thing that could understand was him saying Maya.
