Different But Loved

Chapter 24.

"She. Just. Said. Something." Joe says as he keeps his eyes on me.

I moved closer to Iwan not knowing what to do. Was it bad for me to say something? I didn't even know I said something. What did I say?

I look up to Iwan and see the biggest smile on his face. I open my mouth to say something but I get cut off by the waitress.

"Here you go gentlemen and my lady. Please do say if you need anything else." I meet the younger girls eye and she gave me a wink. I was taken back by that and my face turn red.

Did she mean to wink at me or Iwan?

She handed everyone their napkins. As she handed mine her fingers touched me. I quickly took my hand away from her as if she burned me and I looked up at Alexander who just watched me like a hawk.

When she left I saw numbers on my napkin and the name 'Monica'.

"I rather have a guy flirt with you than a girl." Iwan said making his brothers look at me. Iwan fist were clenched together.

"W-why." I whisper to him, taking a hold of his hand with mine.

"Because I can punch him." He said almost relaxing.

I heard the boys laugh.

I lean forward and kiss Iwan on his cheek. "Don't worry, I love you." I whisper to him and I felt him tensed.

Iwan's POV.

It happen so quick! I didn't even have the chance to stop them!! This was a trap. A trap all along! He put me in a trap! That fucking bastard took whats mine away!!

I am going to kill him! I don't care how long it takes! I will kill him if he hurts my baby. My Maya!!

I will make sure everyone of them are gone from this planet!

-An hour earlier-

After we left the restaurant Maya seem to notice something but she wouldn't tell me. I would watch her glance behind us all the time.

We had stop at a park where Bruno said it would be nice to take Maya so she could relax and all. I trust him, knowing he is good with the ladies I took her there.

"Baby what are you looking at?" I ask her again. "Did the boys follow us?" Alexander and Joe wanted to come but I told them to go home and finish the business.

I turn and I stop making sure Maya was behind me at all times. This time I saw what she was looking at. I grabbed my gun and slowly watching the figure hide behind the bush.

"Did you see that?" She whisper and I nodded my head. Someone is following us.

Picking up a rock from the ground I threw it towards the bush and not even a second a man jumped out with a gun in his hand.

Firing the gun he tried to aim at Maya but I pushed her down, only for the bullet to hit my shoulder and I felt my arm burned.

"Maya run!" I shoot the guy and hit him right on the head watching his body fall to the ground. I turn and grabbed Maya from her hand and stop her. "This way baby."

I saw tears on her cheeks which made me mad. Why can't they get me when I am not with the most important thing in my world?

Taking out my phone I dial Alexanders number. It felt like hours before he answered on the third ring.

"Hellur brother, How can I help you-"

"I'm being attacked at this moment. Get here as soon as-" As I made my way to the truck all of my men where lying in a pool of blood. I heard Maya gasping for air. She was looking at my dead men. "Hurry!!" I yell and the line was cut off.

Running towards one of my closes men I grab his gun, stepping away fro him I hand her the gun. I was paranoid at this moment and scared. I was alone and I was scared that Maya would get hurt.

"Baby I know you're scared but if you see someone shoot them." Her whole body was trembling. "Sh*t.. Throw the gun at them at least if you can't shoot." I hear a groan beside one of my trucks getting me on full alert. "Wait here."

I walked back where I heard the grunts. Slowly making my way there I point the gun only to see Lorenzo punching someone in the face. I don't even know if he had a face but blood was all over his arm and hand.

"Lorenzo!" I yell and he stopped. His eye full with anger.

"Sir I already called for backup" We both turned to a sound of something being thrown. My eye widened when I see a grenade. Lorenzo quickly kicks it and pushes me to the floor as it blows up.

I blacked out for a moment but all I could see was blurry. The high pitch noise in my ears and the screams off Maya.

I looked up so see a van pull up right behind her, a man wrapping her arms around her as he drag her inside.

"Maya!" I yell as I felt my heart break as she yelled for me to help her but at the moment I couldn't move at all, not even my hand. I looked up at the front seat of the van and I felt so much anger in me.

How could he!!

Bruno sat in front of the seat, his eyes on me, no emotion. It was like if he didn't care what was even going on.  He couldn't since he was part of this life but  it was his mistake for messing with me.

-Now-

Why didn't I see it?

The way he always asked about Maya. That fucker was my friend and I f*cking trusted him. I swear when I f*cking find you I wont go easy on you. I will make you wish you were never born.

Not only will I kill you, but I will kill your entire family.
