I watched in horror as the tower collapsed, falling on to the gate and letting in hundreds of flesh eating zombies. "Carl!!! C'mon" I yelled, grabbing his arm and running into one of the houses. We quickly locked all the doors. Pushing a couch against the front one.
When we found Alexandria, I thought it was the safest place we've seen in a long time. Rick let us stay there mostly because of 6 year old Judith along with 3 year old Kylie.
Kylie was me and Carl's daughter. Although, she was an accident, she was the best thing to ever happen to me. I was only 17 when I gave birth to her and I wasn't quite ready for parenthood but the group was definitely supportive.
I plopped on to a couch next to Carl. "What do you think will happen?" Carl asked. "I don't know. I hope your dad and Deanna are together and safe. They will figure something out" I answered him. Carl nodded. We sat there for a few minutes until I felt a pit in my stomach.
"CARL!!! Where the hell is Kylie?" I yelled, looking out the window. "I don't know. I thought you had her" he stated, checking out the window with me. "I did have her. I asked Carol to watch her for me because Deanna put me on watch" I said through my shaky cries. "What if she's lost? What if I never see her again? What if she was eaten by a walker?" I cried as Carl held me and cried with me.
We shouldn't have cried so loud because it drew walkers to our front door. The walkers pounded on the door, trying to scratch their way into the house. "C'mon (Y/N), we need to leave Alexandria" Carl said, yanking my arm upstairs. "But what about Kylie?" I cried as entered the bedroom. "We will find everyone (Y/N). I know we will but if we don't leave. Kylie won't have parents anymore" Carl said, trying to convince me. I nodded and let go of his hand to grab my weapons.
We climbed out onto the roof. We each attached our weapons to our holsters. "Get on my back" Carl instructed. I didn't question him so, I leaped onto his back, my hands gripping his shoulders and my legs around his waist.
Carl grabbed onto the old telephone pole line and pulled us over the walls of Alexandria. We jumped down and landed on the ground perfectly. "Carl. I feel bad about leaving Kylie behind" I said as began to walk through the woods, crying because our home was destroyed. "I don't mean to be negative sweetheart but, how do we even know she's alive?" Carl said through his tears. I didn't answer. I just simply cried because I may never see my perfect miracle again.

We trudged on through the piles of autumn leaves that had fallen to the ground. I held my beautiful baby boy that I had 3 months ago. Carl and I decided on the name, Blaine. He wasn't an accident. I desperately missed the giggles I got from Kylie so after talking about for a while, we decided to have another baby. I really wish we could find Kylie though.
"Can we rest?" I asked. I was exhausted. We've been walking for days and we aren't going anywhere. Carl simply nodded and took Blaine from my arms so I could sit down. Carl sat down next to me and placed a kiss to my forehead. " I love you" Carl said. " I love you too" I replied.
We sat there for a while, just relaxing a discussing our next plan. Blaine started to cry, meaning he was hungry. I pulled a bottle from our back pack and handed it to Carl. It's honestly the cutest thing seeing Carl be so sweet and caring to our baby.
I was taken out of my thoughts when I heard someone yelling "mommy? Mommy". I looked around. It couldn't be Blaine, he can't talk yet. I stood up and saw half of our lost group but most importantly, Kylie.
"Kylie" I gasped. I ran towards her and engulfed her five year old body into my arms. Carl quickly followed with Blaine and we cried, holding our little girl. I let go and thanked the group for looking after her.
"Who's this?" Kylie asked, pointing to Blaine. "Kylie, this is your baby brother, Blaine" Carl informed her. "Hi Blaine" Kylie said to him. "You two were busy weren't you" Rick laughed. "Oh yeah" Carl laughed. "What does 'busy' mean?" Kylie asked. "That's a conversation for another time" I laughed.
I was so happy knowing my little girl was untouched and safe. She was back into my arms. We now had two beautiful kids, that we both love and adore equally.

We have been living inside of brick house these past years. The entire group has built their own brick house. We weren't harmed by walkers or attackers. It was perfection in the woods. Carl worked on our house very hard. It only had a few beds but it meant everything to me. They were all small but we only needed sleeping space.
Carl and I protected 8 year old Kylie, 3 year old Blaine and now our new daughter, Quinn. We worked as a team in this family or not at all and I couldn't be happier. Well, I could if there wasn't an apocalypse happening. But for now, I'm pretty good with what I have.
