I smiled at Jayden his hair was impeccable as always and his deep brown eyes shone with admiration and happiness.
He was wearing a silver bow tie and vest that matched my dress perfectly. He had a white shirt underneath with a black coat and pants. His black shoes looked like they had just been polished.
I looked at my dad who was still standing by the door. He already had his tux on too and his was just a plain black and white one. Mom strolled past Ava and I and tucked her arm in Dad's. She was wearing a simple black dress that reached the floor.
"Jay, are you not going to say anything else?" I questioned raising my eyebrows.
Jayden's eyes widened at me like he was surprised that I could speak. I looked at Ava who was still standing beside me and saw her staring at Clint with appreciative eyes. My eyes traveled to Clint and he was staring at Ava with his mouth open.
"This is ridiculous," I muttered walking past Jayden bumping his shoulder slightly.
I did not bother waiting for anyone and walked straight out the front door closing it behind me. I was about to open the car door when the front door was jerked open and Jayden's head appeared.
"Do not open that door," he said jogging out to me.
"Well you stood there staring at me like an idiot!"
Jayden opened the door for me and I slide inside. "Is it possible that I was awestruck by your beauty?" He questioned.
"No," I stated pulling the door shut.
Jayden jogged around to the drivers side and slide in gracefully. He looked at me smiling adoringly.
"The looks are starting to freak me out," I said leaning away from him.
"I like when you call me Jayden," he said out of nowhere.
What the hell is up with this guy? He was being really random and not making a lick of since. "Where the hell did that come from?" I asked leaning back farther.
He chuckled to himself, "When we were in the house you called me Jay. I like it when you call me Jayden."
"Are you smoking crack?" I asked.
He looked at me unimpressed. I grinned from ear to ear knowing I finally annoyed him. I saw Ava and Clint walking out of the door. It's about time they quit staring at each other and get in the damn car.
"Be good tonight okay? I don't want to have to chase after you," Jayden said pulling me always from the couple walking.
"I'm always good," I said smiling innocently.
He rolled his eyes am started the engine. Clint opened the door for Ava then practically ran to the other side of the car.
"A little eager are we?" I asked turning my head to look at Clint.
He scoffed at me and started staring at Ava again. Were they not going to talk at all, this was starting to get annoying.
I turned up the radio flipping through the stations finally settling on one that sounded good. No one had ever breathed; I looked at everyone and sighed.
"What's up with you guys?" I asked irritated.
"Maybe they just want the silence," Jayden answered.
"Whatever."
"What is with the attitude?" He snapped at me.
"Attitude? You're the one acting like something crawled up your butt," I answer hatefully.
