I watched his eyes glide over my body checking if any part of me was damaged. I grimaced as I looked at his bruised and battered face. I saw his shirt was ripped in places and a little dried blood on the collar. Apparently he had put up a fight.
I grabbed the tape and then I remembered him leaving me last night so I ripped it off causing him to scream in pain. He glared at me and I replied with a sweet smile. I felt a little guilty as I saw the skin turning red where the tape had been.
“You know they say to rip it off quick so it doesn’t hurt as bad,” I said smiling innocently.
I heard a booming laugh from the front of the van, the man from the park looked at Dean with a sickening smile, “I like her Dean she’s got spunk.”
Dean growled, “Leave her out of this!”
“Oh but I missed my chance at the park. I need to make up for lost time,” he said sneering at me.
Dean’s eyes shot to me fear showing, “This is the guy from the park? The one that gave you the scar?”
I nodded my head feeling worry and fear creep into my as I watched the man lick his lips eyeing my body thoughtfully. I could tell he wasn’t going to let me get away so easily this time. The scar across my torso would look like a scratch from what his eyes were saying.
“Dean you need to watch her better we caught her while she was leaving some other boy’s house,” The man said trying to piss Dean off.
“We aren’t even together anymore why did you take her?” Dean asked not looking at me. I felt a pang of hurt in my chest at his words. I hoped he was just trying to convince the man to let me go, but deep down I know when he told me he was done last night. He was done.
“Oh really? That’s so sad to hear,” the man said faking sincerity, “This is the only way to get my debt repaid,” he spoke again his voice lacking emotion.
Fear. That was the only way to explain the current emotion that was running through my veins right now. I looked down at Dean to see his eyes darting around us looking for any way to escape. I saw disappointment flash in his eyes as he saw there was no way to get out.
“Alex just left her go she has nothing to with this,” Dean said tying to reason with the lunatic.
I realized as soon as he threw me into this van, hell probably when he tried to take advantage of me in the woods, there is no reasoning with this man. He is someone who gets what he wants and if he doesn’t he will kill whomever is in his way to get it.
“Dean shut up before she’s tied to a chair also,” the man from the park, well Alex I guess, said.
I felt my eyes widen at his words and I pressed the tape that I ripped from Dean’s mouth back onto it. I saw him glare at me and I forced a smile trying to keep the playful air with me.
I ran a hand through my hair looking around feeling the panic creeping into me. I walked to the door and sat down pressing my back against the wall pulling my knees to my chest wrapping my arms around them trying to keep myself together.
Okay Shelby, the man that tried to rape you has now kidnapped you and your ex-boyfriend what is your next move? I stared at my feet feeling the question swim in my head. I had no idea where to even start to get away. Most of the time when I got kidnapped I would escape out of the van.
Yeah I know how original right? Everyone that has ever and I mean EVER kidnapped me has threw me into a van. A few times I was brought to the actual boss and they would hound me with questions until my bitchy comebacks and useless answered pissed them off. The left some clues wonder in there with me and I would sneak out as soon as they were distracted.
