After getting off the phone with Ava I changed into a pair of sweats and a tank top. I ran a brush through my hair and took my contacts out placing my glasses on my nose. I walked to my bed and sat on the end of it thinking about my choice.
Last night was spent tossing and turning, I guess after sleeping with Dean for a few days my body got use to the warmth and comfort he provided. I lay on my bed and pulled the covers around me. I reached to take my glasses off when there was a knock.
I looked at my door with a puzzled expression, but it didn’t sound like it came from my door. Another knock made my eyes shot to my window and saw a dark figure with a bright white smile.
I scurried out of bed and scrambled to my window, after unlocking it I flung it open. I was faced with Dean's smiling face.
"How did you get up here?" I hissed.
"Are you going to let me in or not?" he asked smirking.
I smiled at him and moved back from the window crossing my arms across my chest. He slid through the window, but he misjudged his landing making his combat boots slide on my carpet and he landed on the ground with oomph.
I leaned over clutching my sides trying to keep my laughter silent. He looked at me his dark cheeks reddening slightly, “Not the most graceful entrance huh?”
I shook my head still laughing quietly my body shaking with laugher. Dean stood up and adjusted his pants eyeing my bedroom door wearily. He was probably worried my parents would barge in at any moment my dad armed with a gun pointing it at Dean’s crotch.
I chuckled again at the image and Dean’s eyes shot to me, “What are you laughing about?”
I shrugged guiltily my eyes shooting to the still open window. He chuckled slightly and stuffed his hands in his pockets.
“I probably should have called first,” He said looking me up and down.
“What are you doing here?” I asked propping myself against the wall beside the window.
“I slept like shit last night and I actually wanted a good night sleep,” He stated kicking his boots off.
I smiled slightly knowing he enjoyed sleeping with me too. I shut my window and walked over to my door and flicked the lock on it. I felt warm arms wrap around me and I leaned my back against feeling the familiar safeness that always welcomed me when Dean was near.
“Are you okay with me staying here?” he whispered his breath blowing on my neck making chills appear.
I turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck, “Yeah I slept awful last night too.”
He smiled brightly at me and scooped me up in his arms walking to my bed and then dropped me on it making me bounce slightly. A giggle escaped my lips and I couldn’t help the bright smile that spread across my face.
Dean smiled back and crawled into the bed with me wrapping his arms around me protectively. I wiggled away and looked him in the eyes knowing I should tell him.
“I went on a date with Jayden today,” I whispered.
His eyes darkened a little but he didn’t react, “Did you enjoy yourself?”
I nodded my head gauging his reaction; he blew out a deep breath and ran his hands over his face. I felt guilt rush into me, I wanted to wrap my arms around him and tell him I would never go out with anyone even again. I wanted to kiss him and let him cradle me in his arms while whispering he loved me.
He looked at me and forced a fake smile onto his face, “That’s great Shelb I’m glad you had a good time.”
“You’re lying,” I stated.
