Q1. What's the name of the book?
A. Changed
Q2. What is the genre of your book?
A. Fantasy with a tad of romance.
Q3. What gave you the idea for your book?
A. I actually once had a dream in second or third grade. In that dream, some pretty weird things happened and that's where my love for writing began. Not only have I been writing this since I was a little girl, but I look forward to continue editing and adding more onto the story. When I look back at how odd I was as a child, I'm thankful that I dreamt of a talking bulldog(my school mascot) and a boy proofing up all sorts of random things.
Q4. Is your book R-Rated?
A. No
Q5. Can you give a summary of your book?
A. Gemini is just an ordinary teenager. She has loving parents(though she was adopted), fine grades, and interesting but lovable friends. It all changes when she run into a charming stranger whom she can't seem to shake off. After it is revealed that he was sent to unlock her potential and bring her to another realm where she can attend the outstanding Charm Academy, she packs her bags to leave. She was ready to discover what see could really do. Once at the academy, she makes new friends and learns new things. It isn't until she finds her true parents that the story really begins to unravel. She discovers things that were meant for no one to see and it not only puts her in danger, but it also puts everyone she has come to know and love in harms way. She has to face the facts as to why she was really born and what she has the power to do. With the help of her friends, and an unattainable boy, she must face off to the person she has been waiting her whole life to meet.
Q6. Why do you believe it is a good read?
A. I believe my story is a good read because I don't focus on all of the cliche things or making everything perfect. I try my best to make my characters have minds and give them all a life of their own. Granted, I do have trouble with my grammar and could work on my description. But, I sit and think about ways to make my story plot not only original, but also something that people can relate to. I try to incorporate feelings that teens my age would have and I think that's something that is amazing about my work. I include small problems that every teen has to face at some point in their life.
Q7. What would you like to say to those who read your book?
A. I would love to give a big thank you to my readers! I am always open to tips and advice, so feel free to let me know what you think. I have wanted to be an author for so long and Wattpad is helping me share my stories to those who care. I'm too scared to show them to my family or friends, but I love showing them to my friends on Wattpad because we have the same interests. The people on Wattpad are so supportive and I love them all. So, share your feelings on my stories. I want to know what to do in order to be a big published author when I'm older. Just, please, I honestly don't care if I could have used a semi colon or taken away an adverb. I want to know what you think of my plot, my characters, and everything that isn't grammar.
