Q5. Can you give a summary of your book?
A. When Raven loses her fiance, her world falls apart. Having lost the love and light in her life, she struggles to find a way out of the darkness. Her friends band together to try to get her back in the game, feeling again, and possibly loving again. However, Raven's attempts at blind dates fail and she's left alone for a time, until a stranger steps into her life and turns her sadness around. But everybody has their secrets, will her new beau's pull her even further into darkness?
Q6. Why do you believe it is a good read?
A. It's different from all the other books you would read on here. No, the man she meets who has the secret, isn't gay and doesn't cheat (or has a wife/girlfriend and cheats on them with her). He has one huge secret. Many people get the wrong idea of the story, they think my main character goes into depression and then suddenly meets the guy with all the secrets and they fall in love instantly. It's a lot complicated than that, and I bet it's probably a true story (well, some of it anyways). Her fiance dies in war, which we all know many people do as well so that part is true. She comes off whiny and bragging about her lost love, because come on... how else would you feel at a funeral? Happy? I don't think so. I tried to make it as realistic as possible, and the relationship between the two go slow, but once you read it, you'll see why. There are many bumps that go up and straight down, and you'll understand why it goes the direction it goes in.
Q7. What would you like to say to those who read your book?
A. I'd like to thank everyone who reads and likes the story, it means a lot to me.(:
