Q2. What is the genre of your book?
A. Fan Fiction
Q3. What gave you the idea for your book?
A. It was after Haylor (Harry Styles and Taylor Swift) broke up, I was listening to "Safe and Sound" by Taylor Swift. I had never really understood why they broke up. I know they got into a fight and stuff but I never really got any details. So I was listening to this song and thought, "What if the reason they broke up was a secret that only they knew about? What would it be?" I made one up and BOOM! This story was born!
Q4. Can you give a summary of your book?
A. Taylor promised Reina that she would keep her safe & sound from the rest of the world and all the dangers it holds. But promises break. And danger lurks around every corner.
That's the official one, but to add a little more Reina is Taylor's little sister. They were separated when their parents divorced. Reina went with their dad and Taylor went with their mom. When Taylor became famous their dad became very jealous and started to abuse Reina. For years Reina lived with it until she finally ran away. Taylor promised to keep Reina safe and sound. That secret ends up being the cause for every one of Taylor's breakups and after while Taylor breaks and starts to abuse Reina. When Haylor breaks up Harry decides to find out why and discovers Reina. He and the guys take her in and try to keep her safe and sound but Taylor wants her little sister back.
Q5. Why do you believe it is a good read?
A. I think it will make people think differently about Haylor, and Harry and Taylor as individual people. There are a lot of twists, turns and drama in it too.
Q6. What would you like to say to those who read your book?
A. No hate, please! Remember, it's just a story. I know that in real life Taylor is awesome, funny and nice. Im not a Swiftie but I still love her and I know that she's not really like that.
Also, if I'm accidentally copying someone's idea, I'm so sorry! I don't read that many fan fictions so I wouldn't know if I am. And, please don't copy my idea. If you like it or have any ideas on what might happen, let me know! I'd love some feedback and new ideas. Collaborating with other writers would be fun!
