"You need to leave Pentatonix, especially Scott." The lady infront of Mitch said calmly, as her final assesment.
"Umm... are you kidding me?" Mitch asked his therapist.
She had been a good lady, helping him manage his depression and anxiety, but now she seemed to have lost her mind.
The lady shook her head. "I believe that I was very clear, but I can rephrase it. You need to quit your band. You need to quit your youtube channel. And you need to stay off of social media. Oh, and stay away from everyone that this cuts off."
Mitch was frustrated. "What good would that do?" He yelled at the lady.
"Simple. It removes the negativity in your life. You want help with your depression, I'm giving you it. Take it or leave it." She stated simply.
"Take it, I guess. We just finished tour, so they have time to find someone else before our next one." Mitch said, resigning himself to losing the only thing he cared about.
He left the office, left a note at the studio, and bailed on rehersal.
"I need a break. And I can't pull you down with me." Mitch argued with Esther as he got on a plane.
"If you ever want to come back, I'll be here. I can respect your decision." Esther said, before Mitch turned off his cellphone, and in turn, his life.
He got on the plane, not looking back.
