Scott thought about the meeting once everyone had left.

He could've sworn that he had seen the new manager somewhere before.

Something about her just... calmed him. It was unnerving.

He decided to search her up.

He typed "Michelle Coby" into the search engine on his phone, and was confused when nothing showed up.

If she had been in a band, wouldnt there be info on her?

Scott brushed it off, and started working on some of his solo stuff.

Kevin returned to the Triptyq rehersal very soon after he left the Pentatonix rehersal.

"Kevin! I didn't think that you were going to be back!" Antoinette said, happy to see the cello-boxer.

"Hey Kev. How's the new manager?" Tana asked him.

He told them everything.

"Wonder who they'll pick next... why they don't just call Mitch and beg is beyond me." Tana said.

"We can't. His number is disconnected. He moved. He's never on social media. We haven't heard from him in literally ever." Kevin explained.

"Hmm... that is a little unnerving." Antoinette said. "But still, it doesn't hurt to try to reach him. He's still alive and well, maybe he might decide to come back one day."

"Hey, but auditions are good! Maybe they'll find someone really good this time." Tana joked.

The three all laughed.

Kevin just looked away once he had cooled down. "We need Mitch. It doesn't sound right without him."

Triptyq finished their rehersal, and left to go home.

Avi was talking to his sister about Michelle.

"I've already told you, Avriel. She was recommended by some friends in the business. She can help you guys!" Esther yelled at her brother.

"She fired our tenor for a single remark!" Avi snapped.

"Michelle fired Brandon on my request after sitting there for hours and analyzing your dynamics!" Esther snapped back.

"We no longer have a Tenor!" Avi yelled.

"We can get another one!" Esther roared.

"No we can't! We need Mitch!"

"WELL WE CAN'T HAVE HIM! I'VE TRIED TO GET HIM BACK SO MANY TIMES AND HE REFUSES EVERY SINGLE TIME! I'VE TRIED, AVRIEL! HE WON'T COME BACK!" Esther screamed at her brother.

Her volume surprised both siblings.

Avi rolled his eyes, stomping off.

Kirstie was laying on the couch with Jeremy.

"... and she just fired the guy just like that! I'm terrified, Jer! What if she fires me next?" Kirstie cried to her boyfriend.

Jeremy pulled the crying blonde closer to him, soothing her hair gently.

"Dont worry, Kirst. No one is going to kick you out of the group. You are amazing and perfect and everyone loves you. Brandon was an a§§hole that everyone hated. And he couldn't sing." He whispered into her ear.

She clung to her boyfriend, trying to regain her composure.

"I'm sorry for blubbering," She said

Jeremy kissed her forehead. "It's fine."

Mitch heard him phone beep for what felt like the hundredth, and checked the notifications.

ScottHoying: New manager... I feel like I've seen her before. That's good... I think?

KirstinMaldonado: This new management thing is already off to a terrific start!

KevinOlusola: Let's see how this plays out... hesitantly hopeful for a new start.

AviKaplan: Loving this new management!

Mitch let out a breath that he didn't realize he had been holding.

He had been terrified that they would all hate him. He knew it was irrational, but his anxiety was in overdrive.

He had honestly believed that everyone would see through the guise instantly.

Either he was really good at acting, or they didn't know him at all.

"Why does this need to be so hard?!" He yelled out.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

"Esther Kaplan." Esther answered her phone, ready to kill someone (her brother, if he had the nerve to call her).

"It's Mi...chelle. When are we starting the auditions?" Michelle asked, almost slipping up.

Esther groaned. "I don't even know how to announce that we're holding auditions."

Michelle bit her lip. "I could announce that as new management, I'm making changes for the better."

Esther perked up. "That would actually be amazing. We can set up an interview! And then people can get to know who Michelle is!"

Michelle blanched. "Ummm.... I don't know..."

Esther ignored her. "We need to get started up again. What are we looking for?" She asked her co-manager.

Michelle thought for a minute. "Lemme think... a tenor or soprano. They need at least a two octave range. I don't care the gender, it might be nice to work with another girl besides Kitkat."

"Michelle... you can't nickname your clients." Esther scolded.

Michelle winced. "Sorry, Esth. Habits. I'll try to shake it."

The two spent a bit setting up an interview, tweeting to notify everyone to watch for it the next day.

Brandon looked at the announcement, and scowled.

"I swear to god, I will make them pay."
