A/N- Sorry for not updating in a while! I was kinda trying to avoid post in this, cause I'll have mad people... but I can't hold out forever. So here you go. *builds defensive fort of blankets*
"Wait... Esther. Where are we even going?" Michelle asked for the umpteenth time in the car ride.
Esther sighed.
They were on their way to Mario's office, for the test. Scott and Esther had agreed to not tell the amnesiac, in fear of spooking her.
"You know, I'm not going to answer differently because you ask differently. The answer stays the same. You'll see when we get there!" She said, a small laugh in her tone.
Scott was in a different car, on his way. He had chosen to be alone, as a way to calm down.
He had music crooning softly from the radio, as he prepared himself for everything that could possibly go wrong.
There was one thing he didn't count on though.
And that was the car that ran the red light at a high speed, crashing into Scott.
Or Esther not having working breaks, and not being able to slow down... and her and Mitch crashing into the compiling wreckage.
You see, you can't plan for everything. Especially when fate has other plans.

Beep. Beep. Beeeeeeeee-
Beep. Beep. Beep.
His eyes cracked open slightly. All he saw was a very pale green blur.
He blinked a few times, and his vision started to focus a bit
He saw... a ceiling?
Scott sat up with a gasp. He looked at the life support equipment around him, in shock.
He moved to get up, but the sharp pull in his left hand jerked him back down, as his eyes shot to the IV stabbed into his vein.
What... what happened?
He remembered driving....
And a crash.
O please god no...
His eyes focused in past the curtain pulled around him.
There was another body that he could see, with a certain tattoo on it's hand... a VERY familiar one...
"Mitch?!" He rasped out.
That was all he remembered, before he passed out.

Esther came to, to the sounds of trolley wheels moving.
She blinked, confused as to the origin of the sound.
"Miss? Are you awake? Are you aware?" A female voice said.
Esther blinked again. "Yah..." she coughed out.
"This one woke up!" The female yelled out, before turning her attention back to Esther.
"My name is Deanna. You were in a four car collision not too far from here. The other person in your car hasn't woken up yet. The people in two of the cars are dead. We're waiting on one other male, but it isn't looking good. You're the only survivor right now. Do you know your name?" The nurse, Deanna, asked Esther.
"My name is Esther Kaplan-Koop. I'm the manager for the a Capella sensation Pentatonix. I was in a car with Mitch Grassi... where is he?" Esther started freaking out.
"Mrs. Koop. I need you to calm down. The person in your car- Mitch, you said? He's still unconscious. We need to get you stable, before we lose you as well. Is there anyone who we can call?" Deanna asked, softly.
Esther nodded. "Kevin Olusola. XXX-XXX-XXXX. But... the blonde guy. Scott. Is he okay?"
Deanna copied down the number, and then turned to Esther.
"There were two blondes. Both tall. One of them died on impact. The other's unconscious right now."
Esther cried out. "This is all my fault!"
"You were at the end. It wasn't your fault." Deanna said, trying to calm the hysterical manager down.
"If I hadn't made the stupid appointment for him, we would've been home safe! I'm the reason this happened!" She muttered.
Deanna grabbed a small vial out of her pocket, dumping it into the IV bag.
Esther started to protest, but was out cold before she could even open her mouth.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Mr. Kevin Olusola?" A voice said over the phone.
"Speaking. Who is this?" Kevin asked, caution in his voice.
"My name is Deanna Campbell. I'm a nurse at the hospital. You were the contact given by a Mrs. Esther... Kaplan. She, along with a Mitch Grassi and a Scott Hoying were in a car accident. We need you to get here to make some decisions." Deanna said.
"I'll be right there." Kevin said, hanging up the phone.
"AVI?" He yelled out, and the two of them got in the car, on the way to the hospital.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"What's up, BBQ man?" Kirstie answered the phone.
"Scott, Mitch, and Esther were in a car accident. Me and Kevin are on our way to the hospital. Meet us there?" Avi asked.
Kirstie gasped. "I'll be right there!"
She grabbed her keys, and threw the car into gear.

The entire group- except for Tara- was in the hospital. Jonathon was freaking out.
"We can't lose any of them! They'll have to pull through!" He yelled at the doctor.
The doctor stepped back.
"Mr. Kalter, I understand this is a sensitive situation. However, you have to look at the facts. Mitchell has brainwaves that are extremely abnormal, along with several rib lacerations. Scott was conscious for around two minutes, before passing out. He's not responding to medication, and his heartbeat is not following a proper pattern. As for Esther, she's in the best condition- although she has many broken bones, and a possible eyesight issue. The fact is, none of them are in good condition. I'd honestly say it would take a miracle to fix them now." The doctor gave a solemn nod, before heading back to check on the patients.
Kirstie looked at Avi with pain in her eyes.
"I can't lose my best friends," she whispered.
Avi gave her a sad smile. "They're both too stubborn for that, Kirst. I know they'll pull through."
The two sank into a sad embrace, and Kevin joined them. Jonathan sat alone, seething into his phone as he communicated with the record label. Thing's weren't going very well, as he huffed at everyone who moved.
Finally, the doctor came out, with news.
"You four are the family? I'm so sorry for your loss."
