Both me and Tyler stared at Walker in silence.

That was until Tyler took a step back and began to stutter, "D..d...demon!" He then yelled it outloud.

The whole class turned to face him with confused looks on their faces.

That's when Walker then stood up and walked straight through the table, heading towards Tyler.

He looked ready to kill anyone that made eye contact with him.

Tyler began to shake and he took another step backwards, "I..I'm sorry! Pl..please don't kill me." He started to wave his arms in front of his body, seeming to look like he was swatting flies.

Walker ignored him though and kept walking toward him.

People were starting to whisper now, wondering what was going on.

I knew that Walker couldn't actually interact with people in this reality but with his new black aura I really didn't want to take my chances.

Walker was starting to reach toward Tyler who had the most fearful look on his face.

I then stood up and and started to speak in a commanding voice,
"Walker, stop!"

Walker immediately froze and slowly his figure turned from black to white. He then looked back at me with his eyes slightly widened.

Tyler suddenly looked around, "Wh...Where did he go? He ju..just vanished."

Walker was staring at me. He then ran his hands through his hair almost as if realizing what he did, "Audrey... I... I'm sor...."

I shook my head slowly as I sat down, refusing to speak to him.

The other students in the class were talking to Tyler now.

"Tyler there was no one there!"

"But she did call someone's name. Walker?"

"Maybe it really was a demon...."

Their words repeated in my head as the teacher walked in telling everyone to get back to their seats.

Tyler shakily sat near the front, giving me a scared look as he sat down.

I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes for the first time in years.

God, why did he have to make this harder!

Walker was looking at me, complete sorrow filling his face.

I ignored him and began to copy the notes from the board.

I wish he wasn't here....

***************************

The bell rung for the end of class and I quickly gathered up my things and left the room before any one else had even stood up.

I could feel Walkers cold presence behind me, struggling to keep up.

"Audrey wait! Please!" He called out desperately.

I shook my head and began to walk faster.

Why couldn't he see that he just causes me problems.

Before I entered my next class, English, I saw at the far end of the hallway, Tyler talking to Taylor.

Almost as if realizing I was there, she looked up at me and gave me a cruel smirk.

I quickly entered the classroom and walked to my seat, ignoring people's stares and whispers.

"Do you think it's true?  Does she walk around with a demon protecting her?"

I laid my head on the desk. It looks like it already has spread.

The teacher in the front then started talking, telling the class to quiet down and begin the bell work.

I took out my pencil and a sheet of paper and saw from the corner of my eye Walker standing in the doorway.

He looked really depressive as his shoulders were sagging.

He looked up at me and then mouthed some words, 'I'm sorry'

He then walked back out into the hallway so i couldn't see him anymore.

I'm sorry it's so short this time. I'm trying to update as fast as I can. I'm staying up late anyways by studying so updating on here can sometimes be hard.

Please forgive me.

Thank you ;)
