I didn't see Walker for the rest of the block and I wasn't sure if that was good or bad. I mean it was great knowing that I didn't have to worry about Walker revealing himself but on the other hand, I was getting anxious wondering what he was doing.
When the bell rang I quickly exited the classroom as I usually did and looked down the hallways for any sign of the translucent figure of Walter.
I didn't see him.
I frowned softly and started to push my way through the crowd of people.
I couldn't think about him now, I still had another class to get to.
Just as I was thinking that, I felt my body being dragged backwards by two pairs of hands holding tightly to my arms. I'm not that strong, nor do I weigh much so I involuntarily was dragged backwards despite my protests.
I struggled for a bit but I eventually let whoever was dragging me to take me where they wanted. What was the point?
I was pulled in what appeared to be the girls bathroom. Not a very happy place, in my experiences at least.
My kidnappers finally let me go as I hit the side of one wall. I turned and looked behind me to see Taylor and her best friend Bree.
They were complete opposite from each other besides their personality.
Taylor had a slight tan against her white skin while Bree was a rich chocolate brown. Taylor's hair was blonde and completely straight while Bree's was short, dark brown and very curly.
But they did have one thing in common.
They are both complete bitches.
"So Bree, do you think it's true that she walks around with a demon?" Taylor said with a soft smirk in my direction.
Bree chuckled softly, "I just think your new boyfriend is just a nervous reck. He surely didn't actually see anything."
Taylor then bent down so her face was inches from mine, "Don't think I'm believing your shit for a minute. I know what you're up to."
And what is that?
I decided though that it was better not to say anything.
I just simply looked down at my feet as Taylor began to get more frustrated.
"I don't understand what you're doing here! You never speak or interact with anyone. You always act depressed so people could come comfort you. Why don't you just kill yourself already!"
I tried already....
I let a small smile slip barely as I almost let out a laugh.
"What's so funny?" Bree then suddenly kicked me hard in the shins so I fell down onto my butt, my legs screaming in aching pain.
Tears dotted my eyes but I didn't let them flow.
I've experienced worse.
Taylor was looking down at me, clear satisfaction on her face, "Do you think we're playing around Audrey?" She then bent down so she was mere inches away from me, "We don't like it how you act around everyone. No one does. So we're doing the school a favor by trying to get rid of you."
I looked away from her and down to my feet where purple bruises would definitely be forming around my ankles, I'd have to check later.
I then felt a painful clap against the side of my face, making me squeak in slight pain.
Taylor was looking at me in pure fury, "How could your parents even stand a miserable child like you!"
I then heard Bree behind me, "I can't believe she's related to her brother William, the hot violinist."
I sighed softly at the mention of Will.
He's always perfect.
Taylor then slowly stood up, flipping her blonde hair over her shoulder, "That is true Bree, you make good points." She then looked down at me with her cold ice blue eyes, "Maybe I should date him so I could have more contact with you." She then grinned, "We'll be the best of friends, won't we dear?"
That's when she turned around after a shrill bell rang throughout the hallways and echoed across the bathroom. With Bree following behind her they made their way out of the bathroom, leaving me all alone.
