Things I've Never Done

When class ended I was ready to get out of the classroom. I don't know how I found these annoying guys but it was starting to happen more than I wanted it to.

Even if it only happened twice it was twice to many.

I had stood up from my seat and pushed it in, Walker seeming more eager to leave than me. His feet landed on the ground silently and he had his hands in his pockets, standing there, waiting for me to go first.

I was making my way to do that when I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned to see Link holding me in place, "Hey, whats the rush? Come on, I'll walk you to your class."

My eyes narrowed at him, looking at the grinning blonde hair boy in front of me.

He wasn't going to leave me alone, I knew that because he acts exactly like Walker.

I let out a sigh before nodding, looking in Walkers direction to see his head fall to his chest, his hands balling to fists in his pockets.

I honestly wanted to do the same.

Link wrapped his arm around my shoulder before pulling me along, the two of us being the last ones to leave the classroom.

Link sighed, brushing his hair back with his free hand, "Damn it Miles."

He then turned to face me as he continued, "He always leaves me when I'm hanging with someone else. He never bothers to introduce himself."

I felt uncomfortable with his arm around me but I didn't know what to do about it. I never had physical contact with another person that wasn't my family unless it was Taylor and her friends beating me up.

It was a new experience, this whole friend thing.

I glanced toward Link, amusment glittering in his hazel eyes.

He did say he wanted to be my friend right? He's not just playing with me like everyone else?

No. I decided I shouldn't let my guard down just yet.

I just met him today, he could have been put up by Taylor to get my guard down. She was cruel and crafty like that.

As we were approaching my class, Link having been talking the entire time, he paused his conversation, looking at me, "Audrey, I ramble a lot about unessary information. You can interrupt me anytime and speak your own opinion. I'm nice like that." He chuckled softly to himself.

I averted my gaze from him as I stopped walking, taking his arm from around my shoulder and putting it back at his side, "Well, thanks for walking me to my class. I have to go now."

I said this as I turned away from him only to have him grab my shoulders once more. I turned towards him starting to get annoyed now.

"Hey, come sit with me at lunch. I've noticed that you sit by yourself. Our group will take you in" He smiled softly as he let go of me, raising his hand in a farewell, "See you later Audrey."

He then hurried off down the hallway to what I was assuming was his own class.

I let out a small sigh of relief before making my way to the back of the classroom to my normal seat by myself. I kicked out the chair beside me, looking up to Walker to see him look grateful at my action.

"That guy was pretty talkative. I thought he wouldn't stop" Walker collapsed into his seat, putting his feat up on the table, his figure flickering before returning to normal.

I chucked softly as I glanced toward him and the annoyed expression on his face.

He really didn't like Link.

"I don't know he kinda reminds me of you," I whispered softly to not draw attention to myself.

He blew his breath loudly, narrowing his eyes at me, "I don't talk that much Audrey. I'm more of a listener than talker. I like the silent moments we have together, its peaceful."

I smiled at this.

I liked them too, none of us had to talk, we just enjoyed the silence together.

The teacher began to start the class writing our assignment for today on the board. We were supposed to answer questions from the textbook and writing a paragraph for each answer.

I took out my textbook along with the rest of the class when I noticed someone I recognised.

He was sitting in front of me, one hand in his hair, angry with everything in front of him.

The guy that Link told me about Miles.

I didnt even notice he was in this class before. You would have thought ugly moss green hair would make you notice him but seemed as invisible as I tried to be.

Walker looked at him too before shaking his head, "Link was right about that being an ugly color. It's disgusting."

I shook my head too.

That's when Miles suddenly turned in my direction his eyes narrowed in my direction. I could almost feel his hatred coming off him in waves.

He didn't bother to move the bangs that were in front of his eyes as he stared me straight in the eyes, his hand being placed on my desk before he placed his chin in the palm of his hand.

He left out a breath of hot air and his gaze on me started to make me squirm, "Could you tell your little friend that making fun of me really isn't a good idea."

My eyes widened in shock as he then stared right at Walker making him float out of his seat with his eyes wide.

He can see Walker.
