I hadn't bothered to leave the girls bathroom after they had brought me in. Even when the bell rang for the end of the school day, I didnt want to leave from where I was sitting, in the fourth bathroom stall, on the lid of the toilet.
But eventually I did get up.
I wanted to go home for once.
I walked out of the bathroom and walked into the crowd of people who, like me, wanted to go home.
I walked down the bus lots, passing rows and rows of busses till I came to my assigned bus and climbed on.
There was no one else on the bus, it seemed everyone else was taking their time.
That's when I saw him in the seat we were sitting in this morning, stretched out with his eyes shut, appearing to be asleep.
His hair laid in a messy heap on his face and his face glowed a pale white.
"Ghosts can't sleep"
Thats what he told me.
I walked to the seat behind him and sat down, placing my book back at my feet. I had managed to grab it before exiting the school.
Slowly one by one more people began to get on the bus.
I took out my phone and placed it's ear buds in my ears, increasing the music volume so that I could hear it clearly but I could still faintly hear the buses chatter.
I watched everyone as they boarded, either ignoring me completely or sending me suspicious glances.
Rumors did spread fast here didn't they?
I then heard a soft yawn, so silent I almost didn't hear it with my music blaring in my ears.
I saw the ghostly white hair of Walker as he sat up in the seat, rubbing his eyes. He then ran a hand through his hair, then letting out a soft sigh.
When he opened his eyes they immediately found mine.
He looked at me, almost seeming surprised to see me there.
Then after a few seconds he smiled at me.
I didnt smile back.
He then frowned again in sadness and slowly got up from his seat just as the bus began to move, all the students having gotten on.
Walker's feet were a few inches off the ground but because no one could see him it didn't really matter.
He took a few steps then carefully floated into the seat beside me. He looked at me thoughtfully with a face full of hurt.
I stared back at him, knowing that my eyes were probably cold and showed no emotion. Maybe he would go away if he realized that I didn't want or care for him to be here.
"Why are you so stubborn..." He sighed softly.
My eyes widened.
He just called -me- stubborn?
I then saw his face light up in a small smirk as he saw my expression. He then moved himself so he was sitting with his legs crossed over each other once again.
"So I've been doing some thinking...." Walker began in a soft tone, "About how bad that must have been for you..." he gazed down at his feet, unable to look me in the eyes.
"So as an apology...."
He's going to leave me be...
I continued to look at him as he said the final part of his sentence.
"I won't leave your side again."
I completely froze.
Staring at him, I could feel my blood run cold.
He looked at me and smirked again, "Did you really think I'd just let you go, just like that?"
He then chuckled as I sat there silent, watching as the bus pulled into different students bus stops.
What have I gotten myself into?
[~Authors Note~]

I had a massive writing block due to all the school assignments I was being assigned and I couldn't find any time to come up with ideas for this story.
Many of you have suggested great ideas and I promise I'll use them.
