Oh it is on!!

Chapter 12

Conrad's POV

We just got out of the candy store and were heading back to the campground. I was driving and Jake and Alex were in the backseat stuffing their faces with candy. The only thing I could think about the entire time was that the girl I like is on a date with my stupid cousin!!

When I heard he was going on a date with her I wanted to go and punch him in the face. I liked her and he knew that!! I heard they were going on a date when Nick's mom accidentally slipped it out when she was talking to my mom; she also mentioned where they were going. I had to go there when they were there. I knew it was really mean of me to do but I didn't want her to start liking him. So I went and tried to flirt with her as much as I could. Then there was this moment when we almost kissed and I got a tingle in my body.

I drove into the campground and saw Nick's truck sitting there. I almost drove into it. Just then I saw that there was someone in there and right when I drove past them I saw Jenni pull back from their kiss. I was scared about what Nick was going to say to me since I was flirting with Jenni but now that I saw that happening I wanted to get out of the car and go and beat the shit out of him. I was a little disappointed in Jenni too, until I saw her pull away. I knew she would have stayed kissing him if she really liked it if a car would have driven by. But since she pulled away it meant she didn't want it to happen any longer. I mean if it were me she would have never pulled away.

I pulled up to my camper and Jake and Alex hopped out immediately and then went down to the docks. Usually I would go up to Nick's house but  you know I would never do that. So I just went inside and sat and put in a movie my parents were up at Jenni's camper sitting around the fire with Jenni's parents.

I didn't know what to do so I was just going to sleep on it.

I woke up the next morning and went and walked down to the docks. I guess sleeping on it didn't work because I still wanted to pound Nick into the ground and that's all I could think of to do. I made it to the docks and sadly enough Nick was at the end of the dock. I wanted to turn around and go back but I couldn't because he had heard me and had already peaked over his shoulder. The next thing I wanted to do was just go push him off, but I couldn't. He was probably as mad at me as I was at him, but he had an actual reason. I mean I had a reason too, but I sort of intentionally flirted with Jen to piss him off. I had to get this over with so I walked over to the end and plopped down about a foot beside him.

We didn't say anything at first but you could feel the tension already happening. I peaked a glance at him without moving my head and I could just see that his jaw was already clenched. I don't know why he was so pissed he ended up kissing her after the date. "Hey." I said sharply. I wanted to start a conversation but I didn't want to be friendly about it. I was pissed at him. He didn't respond for a little bit but then he did.

"Who the hell do you think you are?" Okay that was definitely not what I was expecting at all!! He still didn't look at me when he said that. And it pissed me off even more!!!!

"What?!?" Who the hell am I? Who the hell are you?!?" I was looking at him then.

"I am Jenni's date!! You are just a wall. You want to block my chance with her." He said the last part calmly but the first part he was practically spitting.

"I'm the wall? I'm the wall? Your the one who is taking her from me okay. She is actually my age. I made my move on her first and took her on a 'date' first." I know that the fishing trip wasn't really a date but I did get to kiss her in the end so I think it counts.

"What date? What date?" He said finally looking at me.

"I took her for a boat ride we went fishing and then went to the rope on the tree. The reason I call it a date is because we ended up kissing in the end." I said very confidently I still was being sharp and harsh I wouldn't mind any second if I could just push him off the dock. It was about 5 ft. deep so he would be startled by it.

He did a double take at me when I said that. "When the hell did you do that?"

"The third day she was here" I said glaring at him and now I was practically spitting. He was such an ass thinking that he was the one who had her first. He was way wrong and now he knew it. If anything he needs to be the one to apologize to me and let her go.

"Well....." He was out of words and I was beyond happy, until.." ...may the best man win." and with that he got up and walked away. He is such an asshole!!!!! The best man will win and when I he will be the first to know!!!

HEY GUYS SORRY THIS CHAPTER WAS SO SHORT AND KIND OF BORING. THIS IS WHERE IT BEGINS.
