Chapter 1: First Day

Fionna POV

*Beep Beep*

Oh my glob! Today is my first day at my new school. I got out of the bed and got dressed. I brushed my hair and teeth and went downstairs. I saw Cake making breakfast.

"Good morning, Hun. I made you some bacon pancakes," Cake said.

I happily went over to the table and ate my food. Cake's bacon pancakes are my favorite. After a while Cake joined me with her own plate.

After breakfast I packed my stuff and Cake drove me to school in her white BMW.

We arrived at my new school after a couple of minutes and stepped out of the car and entered the school. It was huge!

"Come on, Sis! We have to go to the principle first to get your schedule," Cake said leading the way.

The principle's office wasn't far. As we entered the room the principle welcomed us.

"Hello. Welcome to Aaa High. I'm the principle as you might already know. My name is Mr Brunner. You must be Fionna ,right?" I nodded and he shook my hand.

"Well at our school we have a lot of different programs. But first you should meet Marshall he is going to show you around. If you have any question you are welcome here any time," after that Cake left and Marshall showed me where everything is.

Marshall first showed me where my locker is. Next we were on our way to our first period. On our way to class I decided to look him over. He had jet black hair, which was very messy but it looked good on him. He had very pale skin and dark eyes. He was pretty tall and was muscular but not too muscular. Just perfect.

"What's your name again? I didn't get it earlier," he asked.

"Fionna," I answered.

"My name is Marshall Lee but just call me Marshall," he said with a smirk.

"Nice to meet you Marshall," I answered nicely.

"Ok. Here we are. We have the same schedule so you can just follow me if you want. Our first period is: History."

"Oh...uh...ok," I didn't know what else to say. He just smiled and opened the door. We entered the room and everybody was looking at me. Marshall left and went to his seat.

"Oh. You must be the new student. I'm your history teacher Mrs Hayden. Please introduce yourself," the teacher said.

"Uh...I'm Fionna," I answered shyly.

"Ok, Fionna, why don't you have a seat next to Marshall Lee," she pointed at an empty seat in the back.

When I went to my seat there were a lot of people in the room looking at me and whispering something. I guess it's because I'm the new student. After fourth period it was finally lunch time. So far I met Marshall and Gumball.

I met Gumball in Science class. He helped me complete the worksheet we had to do. We all know Science is not my thing. Gumball is a Candy Prince and dressed completely in pink. Even his skin and hair is pink.

I went to the cafeteria and looked for a place to sit. Then I saw Gumball and went over to him.

"Hey Gumball," I greeted.

"Hey, wanna sit with us?" he asked.

"Sure," I sat next to him.

"Eh...ok. First let me introduce you to my friends...This is Bubblegum my sister," he pointed to a pink girl. "And that's Flay," he pointed at the fire dude.

"Hey Fionna," Bubblegum and Flay said.

"Hey."

"Can I ask you something?" Flay asked. I nodded.

"What are you?" he wanted to know.

"A human," I answered and they looked at me shocked.

"But aren't they extinct?" Gumball was confused by all of this and I'm sure so were the others.

"Yes. Almost all of them. I'm the last human," they didn't say anything but I didn't expect them to anyway. I just kept eating my lunch.

*Ding Dong*

"Oh we better get back to class," Gumball said.

After school I waited for Cake to finally come pick me up. We were home like 30 minutes later. I was exhausted so I just went to my room and took a nap.
