Fionna POV
Lately I've been feeling kind of weird. Not like sick weird, just simply weird. Right now I feel like I have no emotions at all. I don't know. I know I'm with Flay but it just doesn't feel right. Don't get me wrong, I still care about him, I just think it's to early for a relationship. I shouldn't have rushed it so much.
Ugh. Now I have a headache. I better get up before I'll be late for school. I went into the bathroom, brushed my teeth, brushed my hair and did all the other things you do in the morning.
"Hey, Honey? You need a ride?" Cake asked me.
"Sure."
She grabbed her keys and together we went outside towards her car.
After I arrived at school I saw Fia waiting for me at the entrance of the school. I really need to talk to her.
"Hey, Fionna! Sup?"
"I really gotta talk to you."
"About what?"
Instead of answering her I pulled her inside the school into the genitors room.
"Uhm, Fionna? Why are we in here?" Fia asked.
"It's about your brother."
"Oh gosh. What did he do now?"
"Nothing. It's just...look...I know he's your brother but can you keep this a secret."
"Of course. Just because he's my brother doesn't mean he's my BFF or something like that."
"Ok, good. You see I think I should break up with him."
"Not that I feel sorry for him but why?"
"I just don't feel anything. It just doesn't feel right and I think this whole relationship thing is not right.
I don't know. I just need time but I don't know how to tell him that."
"Just tell him what you just told me. I'm sure he'll understand."
"Thanks, Fia."
"No problem."
We gave each other a hug and went to our classes before class starts. Later after half of my classes were over I went to lunch.
"Hey, Fi"
"Hey, Marshall."
"What are you doing out here all alone?" he asked.
"I just needed some time to think."
"Are you ok?" he asked worried.
"Yes," I simply ansered.
"Sure?"
"Positive."
"Ok then."
"Can I ask you something, Marshall?"
"Yeah, sure."
"You are the most popular guy, right? So why do you sit with me?"
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"Well, usually the populars always hang around other populars. And with the pretty girls."
"Yeah, true. But the only thing they talk about is themselves or they just gossip around. I would rather sit and talk to my best friend. Besides I don't like pretty girls, I like beautiful girls. And you're the only beautiful girl I know inside and outside. Don't ever forget that, okay?" I nodded blushing really bad.
"You can be so flirty sometimes," I said stuttering.
"I know," he chuckled.
We both started laughing. To be honest, being around Marshall really is fun. Being around him always clears my mind. School was over and I was about to walk away from the school.
"Where are you going?" someone asked from behind me.
"Home."
"You gonna walk?" Marshall asked.
"Yup. My sister is kind of busy lately and I can't drive because I don't have my own car, yet."
"But it takes a while to get to your house if you walk."
"Well, I have no other choice."
"Let me drive you home."
"You sure?"
"Yeah."
"Thank you, Marshall."
We headed towards his car, got in and left the school. My house wasn't far if you drive, so we were there in about 5 minutes.
"Bye, Marshall. And thanks again."
"No problem. You know, I could just drive you every day. My house is not that far from here anyways."
"Really? You would do that?"
"Yup. So...Bye, Fionna."
I waved and went inside of my house. Marshall is right. I wouldn't even be half way right now if I walked. At least now I don't have to worry about that now.
