Is it too Late?

It was the morning of the signing and it was a chilly one. It was 9:00 and i had jumped in the shower to freshen up. Afterwards I got dressed into some warm clothes; my top, blue jeans, a warm coat and tartan scarf.

The signing event started at 11:30, so we had to be out for atleast 10:30. This was because the hotel we were staying at was far away from the location so no fans followed us back.

After getting ready i headed down to the lounge area of the hotel to grab some breakfast. Only once i was down there, I saw Joe and Caspar sitting across the room devouring some toast.

I grabbed myself a bowl of cornflakes, sprinkled some sugar on top and then poured myself a glass of fresh orange juice.

Instead of going to sit with Joe and Caspar, i remembered that this was my job i was being payed for, not to just chat and make friends.
I sat down on a sofa-like chair and placed my breakfast onto the table in front of me, ready to dig in.

I took out my phone and scrolled through twitter reading what people were up to, whilst digging into my breakfast.

'Hailleeyyyy' i heard Caspar sing across the lounge area.

I looked up at him, 'yeah?'

'Come sit with us' he said, and i looked at Joe; who just smiled at me.

I smiled politely back, gathered up my things and went to sit with them. It can't hurt nobody.

'You have a nice sleep?' Joe questioned, actually seeming interested.

'Not really if i'm honest, i couldn't really get to sleep..' I said, lying.

I could get to sleep, and i was eager for sleep. I was exhausted. It's just when i got to sleep my nightmares just replayed, so at all costs i forced myself to stay awake. I know it's not good for me, but i just couldn't face waking up with bad thoughts again.

'Oh, well hopefully you can get some rest tonight instead' Caspar smiled sweetly.

'Anyways, enough about me. Are you both excited for your meetup?' I asked, munching on the last of my cereal.

'Well we both are, but i just get a little more nervous than Caspar does sometimes' Joe explained, biting his lip.

I understand what he means.
Throughout high school Joe was mostly always talkative; but only around his friends. With other people he would get more shy, or awkward. I don't know why, but that's just how he was. But i guess if this was me, I would be nervous too. Hundreds of fans to please, and to live up to their expectations, it all must get a little daunting sometimes. But i guess that's the deal with the job.

Caspar

As we arrived at the location (Brighton HMV in the shopping center) we got out in the back parking lott, to make sure we weren't surrounded by screaming fans.

And as i was waiting for the others i got out my phone and decided to vlog. I don't normally vlog that much, but when i do do it, i enjoy it.

'Hey, so today me and Joe are at our first signing for Hit The Road, and right now we are about to go in to sign some DVDs' i spoke to the front facing camera.

I walked off a bit to catch up with Joe, who seemed to be waiting for me.

'Hey, Joe, how excited are you to meet everyone?' I asked, looking at Joe through the camera.

Instead, he didn't even acknowledge me. As soon as Hailey walked over to him they walked off together..
He didn't even listen to me.

Instead of getting angry i just awkwardly smiled at the camera and pressed stop.

'The perks of being caspar lee' i thought sarcastically to myself.

Hiya! Its 00:17 in the UK right now, so a bit of a late update. I swear everytime i update its at night😂

Anyways, happy valentines day! I will be forever lonely (😢) but hopefully you enjoy it :).

I hope you like this chapter, although i literally just wrote it i think it's alright for a late night thing.
