Guilt. Guilt is all I felt. Why did i say that?
I sat on the bench outside and pulled my hair in frustration. How could i act so low? He's going through the toughest time ever and I make it all about me...
Tears fall from my tinged rose cheeks onto the ground as I hang my head low in between my legs.
'Are you okay?' I hear a voice. I could recognize that voice anywhere.
'Been better. How come you're here?' I ask her.
'I was going to come and visit Caspar but I figured you'd be in there so I was going to wait out here until I'd seen you go, but here you are... How come you aren't in there anyways?' Hailey asks whilst taking a seat next to me as I move over.
'He doesn't want chemo. I freaked out and called him selfish.. What do I do?' I asked her, finally making eye contact.
She looked different. It hadn't been long since I last saw her, but her hair was shorter. She'd dyed it lighter too. She seemed like she'd lost weight.. She seemed healthy. I'm glad.
'Just apologise to him. I'm sure he'd understand that you'd react this way, he couldn't have expected you to be fine with it straight away, I guess you need time to get used to it too..' She spoke.
I listened to her words intently and hung my head again.
'You look well.' I smiled lightly.
'Thank you.. I can't exactly say the same for you' she laughed quietly.
'Why don't we go in together, ey?' She questioned as I met her eyes again.
I simply smiled in reply as we stood up together, walking towards the hospital doors.

How are you all? How is your first few weeks/days back at school? My mocks are this year so it's revise revise revise, & I'm not looking forward to it ughh.
Anyways, the point I did this authors note is because I want to start recommending books every month or so. As just lately I've read some really good books on here and a particular one inspired me to do this. So the first book is:

•It's a watty award winner of 2014
•It's a romance story, but not sickly/cringey
•It is written in beautiful detail with an amazing story plot
•Personally it's one of my favourites on wattpad.
