5 Days Later..

I woke up right next to Harry, except I was snuggled up to him as if he was my pillow. He was hugging me back and it was really comfy. In fact he is my pillow. For the past few nights we have been sharing a bed due to some error they had with our room. Boundaries died that day as most of the time we woke like this. I wanted to sleep more so I closed my eyes and snuggled closer.

At that moment, Cher came back to our room. As usual she snapped a picture of us before talking.

"Morning neighbours. Its breakfast." Cher announced waking us up. Cher was right next door to us in rooms. She was really nice, despite the fact that she was constantly taking pictures of Harry and I.

Harry and I stirred awake and did our morning routines. Harry went to shower first while I sat at a desk scribbling random things in my notebook.

In between dance, vocal and choreography classes- these few days had been exhausting. If not for Harry constantly keeping my hopes up, I'd probably already gone home. I just found it amazing how within a few days Harry had become such a close friend to me. Despite the rumours that spread after that accidental kiss, that didn't bother us at all.

Harry placed his head on my shoulder over looking what I was doing. I turned around to see that he was shirtless and had nothing but a towel over him. He wasn't muscular but he wasn't a skinny bones skeleton. I marvelled at his appearance. I tried to hide the blush that was now evident on my face.

"Please put on a shirt." I told him. Harry nodded and put on a shirt, but kept the towel on. He turned around and looked at me.

"You only said 'shirt'." He smirked mischievously. Slowly removing his towel. He hummed 'Careless Whisper' and came closer stripping himself of his towel. I covered my eyes with my hands averting what was coming near me. I heard the towel drop to the floor.

Oh no.

Harry reached for my hands and started to take them off my eyes. I was in too much shock to even think about closing them. What was he going to do? When he took them off I saw that he was wearing khaki shorts that went to his knees the entire time. I let out a sigh of relief as Harry laughed his head off.

Today, we got a day off. Today the judges were making the decision of who went home and who stayed. Tomorrow we would find out.

"What 'cha doing?" Harry asked, recovered from his laugh attack.

"Doodling." I replied. Harry's eyes glanced over and looked at the song I had written for Niall what seems like months ago.

"That's really sweet." He comments. "You know, if you changed Niall's name and the courting part to something generic, It could be a hit. I think it's a beautiful song from a beautiful girl." He points out. I smile and blush a little bit.

"I don't think so.." I admit sheepishly, staring at the ground avoiding eye contact.

"You don't know you're beautiful? I guess that's what makes you beautiful." Harry complements me. I raise my eyebrow in confusion. Harry logic, it makes no sense. Harry picks up on my confusion and answers;

"You're pretty but you're humble about it. unlike the girls who know they're beautiful and have an ego about it. Personality matters, it's not just looks. "

"Thanks Harry." I smile. "Hey, that could fit in the song!" I add. Harry starts singing the melody of the song as I sing the harmony.

"Baby you light up my world like nobody else,

The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed,

But when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to to tell..

You don't kno-o-ow!

You don't know you're beautiful!

O-oh! That's what makes you beautiful."

We both sung. Unknowing that someone was watching.

Simon POV

We had just finished the first half of the meeting. Something deep within myself saddened me. The decision to remove Harry Styles and Eve Delacy from the competition really struck a chord with me. They were my two favourites. Unfortunately, the other judges were correct in their observations.

Eve and Harry were not as confident and as strong as the other contestants. Though excellent singers, they both lack in the dance department and seemed to be missing something. I walked through the hallways of the contestants on my way to the diner when I heard someone.

"...I think it's a beautiful song from a beautiful girl." A deep male voice comments. I peek in to see where the sound is coming from. Just who I had been thinking of. I observe the conversation going on in their room. Since their audition, the two had been surprisingly close. Even during their classes they never failed to crack a joke or smile at each other. They've known each other for less than a week and they act like they've known each other for a lifetime. What if they were to be together longer?

Eve seems to be withdrawn and quiet without Harry, and Harry extremely awkward without Eve. But Harry seems to bring out the best in Eve and vice versa. Personality wise, they are somewhat opposite, Harry being the extrovert and Eve being the introvert. But despite their differences they are the best of friends. I doubt that they are aware of their differences as they merely enjoy each others company. Nevertheless they complete each other.

Harry and Eve begin to sing together and the outcome was breathtaking. Eve's high soprano-alto voice and Harry's tenor mixed beautifully together. Just then I had an idea. An idea crazy enough to work.

I rushed to the meeting room and called everyone. Within an instant they appeared.

"Yes?" They chimed. I explained to them my past observations on Eve and Harry, desperately trying to persuade for them to stay.

" In conclusion, Eve and Harry should be given the chance to become a singing duo." I finished. Silence overcame the room. Marcel, our marketing advisor spoke up.

"A duo? But that hasn't been done in ages!" He argued.

"Which makes them stronger. The fact that they are unique in that way will only strengthen them. When the two are together they learn to rely on themselves as compared to a band where they may have division." I preach. But the crew seemed unconvinced. "Listen, let's just give them a chance. If they're not good enough, the audience can vote them out." I bargained.

"I'm on board. All in favour, say aye."

One of the producers speak out. They seemed to murmur in agreement.

"Aye!" They chorus. I smile at the decision.

As uncharacteristic this may be for me, I couldn't help but fangirl a little bit over the two.
