Eve POV
*time skip to the x-factor finals*
I felt like time was going in slow motion. I held on to Harry's hand as tight as I humanly could as if time would speed up, but it never came. on stage with us right now was Cher Lloyd and another male singer. His name was Drake Brookes. They were both exceptionally great singers who deserved to win.
"The winner of X-Factor 2010 is..." The host trailed off. My heart raced. I could see that Harry was nervous too. He was fidgeting with my fingers something he only does when nervous. The audience was silent.
"YIN-YANG!" He boomed.
What? Oh my god we won! All the blood sweat and tears we went through was worth it. I was almost on the verge of happy tears. I looked at Harry and gleamed.
"We won." I mouthed, knowing he couldn't hear me over the cheers. He smiled back. Harry, still holding my hand pulled me closer and did something I didn't expect to happen.
Harry kissed me.
It wasn't just any kiss. It was one of the best kisses i've ever experienced. It was filled with passion, longing and love. But Harry's kiss wasn't what surprised me the most.
It was the fact that I kissed back.
No one interrupted. It was just me and Harry in the world. I eventually needed to breathe so we broke the kiss and smiled to the world. I held Harry's hand and we walked over to the middle of the stage.
We won.
