Harry and I stood side by side in front of the judges. Our hands were clasped together, as if we were to let go the world would end. This action went anything but unnoticed by the judges. They stared at the two of us, but nevertheless stayed quiet about it. Simon was the first to speak up.

"Genevieve Delacy and Harold Styles." Simon boomed. Wait, Harold? That's what it stood for? I was expecting something more regal. I made a mental note to tease him about it later.

"Upon observation, you both lack in certain areas. Harry and Eve you will not be making it through the next stage as solo artists." Another judge announced.

My heart sunk. We weren't going to go through the next stage? I felt tears prick my eyes. I made it this far. Harry squeezed my hand and faced me with watery eyes. He mouthed

"It'll be alright." I thanked him.

I expected the judges to send us home but instead they kept us here.

"However, the both of you despite being opposites in many ways- outweigh one another's faults. Eve's quiet personality with Harry's loud one. The fact that you both cannot dance for your life and the combination of your two voices. You bring out the best in each other." A female judge continued. Simon, one of the judges smiled.

"We would like to move you on to the next stage as singing duo." Simon finished.

With that statement I could no longer contain my excitement. I turned to Harry and squealed. Unfortunately my legs had turned to jell-o and I nearly fell. Harry noticed and carried me on his back. I couldn't care less that this was on TV, we were going to the next stage!

"Do you need time to think?" Simon smirked. I was about to speak but Harry beat me to it.

"Nope, I love being with this girl!" Harry burst out.

"I second the statement!" I agreed. Simon and the other judges laughed.

"You're free to go." Th female judge waved. With that I pointed off stage ad yelled happily:

"Yer a preformer Harry!" I announced. Harry looked up at me and questioned me.

"But I'm just Harry!" He replied, catching my Harry Potter reference.

"Onwards just Harry, to Hogwarts!" I commanded. Harry ran off stage and arrived there peacefully but tripped on nothing but his bare feet. Technically feet with shoes but you get the drift. I fell off his back and straight into a pool of white paint, Harry however fell into the black paint next to the white counterpart. We were covered head to toe in the paint. We sat in the pools just staring at each other. Harry's hair was safe from the black paint and his beanie unlike mine. He looked like some creepy night spirit spirit. Like a human representation of Yang.

"YANG!" I rang out.

"YIN!" He pointed at me at the exact same moment. Twinning. We got out of the pool of colour, laughing hysterically at each other's appearance when something clicked in my brain. Yin-Yang. That could be our name. Just as the judges say, we are opposites but at the same time we complete each other. We balance each other out.

"Hey duo buddy, we could totally call ourselves that." I suggest.

"Yin-Yang? I like that." He smiles. Harry offers his arm and we skip out, aware of the cameras awaiting us. Down the hallway the both of us chant;

"WE ARE YIN-YANG!" We skip out of the hallway in our respectable colours.

This is the start of a new beginning.

Frankly, I'm loving this.
