Niall POV
What a bitter feeling. I had finished watching the x-factor finals.
They kissed.
Eve and Harry kissed.
I can't believe it. She said she would wouldn't give up on me. She just suddenly changes her mind? I'm such an idiot. How could I not see that I was in love with her? I needed to know more.
So I took the sadistic route and went on the x-factor website to find out that they had one last video diary, linked to YouTube. It was uncut probably because it was produced by them, unlike most.
As usual Harry was being an idiot and his face in the camera. Naturally, Eve scolded him. They were acting as if nothing had happened. As if Harry didn't kiss Eve.
Harry and Eve as usual were shamelessly flirting, cheek kissing- the usual. She still wore the locket I gave her everyday, and I wore the counterpart. But the moment they forgot that there was a camera was when my heart was ripped out. There they were, kissing for the third time. Eve was the one who started the kiss. I could not believe it.
"I'm yours." Eve informed him. The pair realized that the camera was recording and while blushing looked to the camera.
"Well, you guys were right. Hare is real. Thank you, for your support. This is the start of a new beginning and the end for this chapter. We're moving to our very one YouTube account and we got twitter." Eve ranted.
"Eve's is @YinOfficial-" Harry spoke only to be interrupted by an irritated Eve.
"Because @EveDelacy and @EveStyles is somehow taken..." She spat.
"And mine is @HarryStyles. Our YouTube is under the name of YinYangOfficial." Harry spoke weakly after hearing Eve "Styles"'s joke, still unbelieving that him and Eve were now together.
The screen turned off, it was back to the homepage. The brutal reality of my mistake had just started to sink in, piercing my very being in the slowest painstaking way. Why?
I needed to think, to get out for a little. I went down the stairs and into the living room. Dani was sitting there on the internet as usual. She noticed my presence and turned to me.
"Going out?" She asked. I nodded. She came towards me with a scarf, snapback and sunglasses hoodie. She gave it to me saying;
"Its rather cold today. It's best if you bundled up." Dani informed. I thanked her and went out. I decided to go to the park near the school.
What a horrible mistake. I can't believe i'm so stupid. I would give anything to have another chance, a second try, a possibility to win Eve's heart back. She should have been mi-
I couldn't continue my thoughts as I almost tripped on a little puppy. I walked faster and arrived at the park. Sitting on the bench would probably be more safe for me. I sat on the wooden bench and realized.
I've been reduced to a love sick puppy.
A girl tapped me on the shoulder snapping me out of my thoughts. She had a bear themed beanie on her head concealing most of her hair apart from her bangs. She had some light makeup on that I thought she didn't need at all. The girl wore a leather jacket that seemed to be too big to be hers. She looked so shockingly similar to Eve. Could it be her?
I mentally shook my head. Of course not. Eve was miles away and this girl in front of me wasn't even wearing the locket.
"You seem to be thinking hard. Mind if I sit with you?" The girl said. I nodded and she sat with me instantly.
"So, whats up? Its best to let it out, I'm a stranger anyways- I wont tell." She winked at me. I decided it wouldn't hurt anyone to tell her, she was after all a stranger. We probably wouldn't see each other after this.
"After months of a girl being in love with me and trying to win me over, she found someone new and I just recently realized that I was in love with her from the start." I explained.
The girl in front of me laughs right in my face.
"You live in a fan fiction world! But I would support you two." She manages to say in between chuckles. I raise my eyebrows in suspicion.
"Its a classic plot. Boy meets girl, girl falls in love guy rejects girl, Girl moves on and the boy is left in the dust. Depending on the genre and how focused the story is on the new guy, its unlikely for the original two to be together."
"What about you? You seemed to have something on your mind too." I pried. Putting her thin fingers on her chin she strokes her finger on her cheek, thinking.
"Trying to decide if I'm over a guy that I liked and trying to moving on with life." She tells me as if it were an everyday thing.
"Are you over him?" I ask her. She bites her lip as if she doesn't want to say a word. But then she decides against it.
"Trying to be. Some feelings remain but it's best to just move on. I truthfully don't want to move on, but I don't have another choice really." She admits.
"What if it were like my situation and the guy still liked you?" I suggested.
"I don't know what I'd do. People wouldn't like it." She shrugged.
"How can you let that stuff bother you? It doesn't matter what they say. You're you, you have your own charm! If you really like this guy, then go for it!" I shout out. A smile graces her face.
"A friend of mine said something like that before. But with my job, its hard not to care about what people think." She informs.
"What's your j-?" I ask only to be cut off by Beanie Girl's finger on my lips.
"Its a secret. Don't waste your breath." She smirks. "What are you going to do if the girl comes back into your life?" Beanie Girl wonders aloud.
" I don't know. From what I've heard she won't be for a while."
"But what if she does come back?" She presses on.
"I'd win her back." I tell her.
