"We are about to begin the Yin-Yang press conference." Mari announces to the monotonously, putting on her whole "business woman" act. Some call it profenssionalism, a quality which I lack and desperately need right now.

See, Harry and I have signed a contract saying that Yin-Yang will have to be together for four more years. That being said, it means we both have to put aside our differences for the music.

"Uh, Hi?" Harry strains out.

"Hey, Harry." I say awkwardly. Harry twiddles his fingers awkwardly. There is nothing more said between us. What could I say? Mari cues us from the stage and mentally prepare myself for the personal invasion that is called a press con. Whilst focusing on focusing, I tripped on my own feet causing me to plummet to the ground. That was what I thought anyway until I landed in the soft familiar arms of Harold Edward Styles. I looked up, expecting him to cough awkwardly or something that I wasn't accustomed to. Instead, Harry smiled his childish grin.

"Geez Princess, watch your step." He jokes. Instantly after he says those words, it seems like he regrets it. I am taken aback by his words as well. We shouldn't be acting like this, we broke up.But really, how else should we act? Before I can think of the empending awkwardness that could follow, my words slip out.

"Don't push it Romeo." I smile and turn around to the table on stage in front of tonnes of reporters just so that Harry won't see me blushing like a lovesick school girl. Mari walks backstage with an air of elegance surrounding her.

"What are Yin-Yang's plans for the future?" A gruff old business man asks. Harry's posture straightens, and seems to look more grown up and official.

"Thank you for the question sir. In the near future, Eve and I plan to release a full length album and a tour upon the release of said album." He states matter of faculty. I take a sigh of relief, thankful that we are starting off professional. Time seems to be ticking by fast to my luck and no one has yet to ask a personal question. A young woman about my age wearing a blazer is next.

"At the end of last month, there have been many pictures surfacing of Eve and songwriter Niall Horan. Are you cheating on Harry?" The reporter asks. In that moment something clicks in all of the interviewer's heads. I take a deep breath in, and prepare myself to answer to the question.

"Harry and I are no longer together and I-" I pause. I take a glance at Harry. This is what he wanted, right? He wanted me to be with Niall and Niall wants to be with me. The only person who doesn't want this is me. Harry isn't going to take me back. I love him, but I can learn to love Niall again. Right?

"I am indeed in a relationship with Niall Horan, we started dating shortly after Harry and I broke up." I confirm. The woman speaks again.

"Harry, how do you feel about this?" Harry looks up at the young reporter. His eyes seem to have lost the childish gleam they always carried, and it killed me to see this because I knew it was my fault.

"Can't say I didn't see it coming. I mean really, it's not a coincidence that we we're put in this town. They were bound to find each other. I didn't want to get in the way of it, so we broke up. Maybe in some other universe we could have worked out, but here I know it's not going to happen." He speaks. Harry glances subtly to me, and grins in the way I am used to. I blink twice, because I am not sure that What I am seeing is the truth. "I'm happy for her, because I will support Eve in whatever she chooses to do. Girlfriend or not; Eve will always be my best friend." A grin tugs at my face, because I know that there's still a part of Harry that will always be there for me. Even if its not in the way that I would prefer. Something is better than nothing.

"And boyfriend or not; Harry will always be my best friend. We're Yin-Yang for a reason. We will not let our relationship status, no matter what it is, interfere with our friendship because our connection to each other is more important than the label "boyfriend" or "girlfriend." I announce proudly, thankful that somehow these words have been put into my mouth. I look to the side to see Mari giving me a thumbs up, and signalling that this conference is over.

"I'd like to thank you for your time." I dismiss.

A/N: Short; I know. I'll write more eventually. Please tell me what you think. Well Even shippers, it's canon now. But what about Harry? Also, for the record; there has been about two weeks since the incident. So although Eve's methods of getting over guys isn't that great, it is a real life flaw and a way that people do it.
