Presidentials 2016

(I wrote this in 2016 so yeah, the information in here is the 2016 information. I decided to still publish it because why not? I also edited this part. I'm cringing to my old writing style haha.)

So this is just an update what the hell is going on in the Philippines. Yep, maybe somehow boring to you—Presidentials.

It's been six years since President Simeon Benigno 'Noynoy' Aquino III been a president in the Philippines. Now, all of the candidates for Presidents are now doing their campaign to let people decide to vote them. Now, here's a little bit fun part (because they're the talk of the town cause the candidates are interesting and the way they campaign themselves) so here's the candidates for President:

1. Miriam "Defensor" Santiago
- she's the Iron lady of Asia. She published many books and laws such as "Stupid is Forever" and "Magna Carta for Women" and laws such as RH, Cybercrime, and many more. She's a lawyer. She's intelligent and can beat you up with an IQ fight.

2. Grace Poe
-her father is the Philippines' famous action star Fernando Poe Jr. and her mother is Susan Roces. She is adopted and they treated her like their own. she wants more empowerment to women (insert feminism here). Before running as a president, she became a senator and here she is.

3. Mar Roxas

-his focus is poverty. His grandfather Manuel Roxas is a former president. He have this quote, "Daang matuwid" (Straight path) meaning, he would lead the country in straight path. Also, with that, Pres. Aquino have his back.

4. Jejomar Binay

-he is the current vice president and his son Jojo Binay is the mayor of Makati City and also, his daughter Nancy Binay is a senator. His focus is to boost economy of course, develop education, transportation, hospitals, and much more. Just like how Makati it is today.

5. Rodrigo Duterte

-the mayor of Davao which is a province located in Mindanao here in the Philippines. He promised to destroy crime within 6 months and his focus is crime. He wants to vanish crimes and willingly to go war on drugs. There are also news swirling around that he might bring back martial law. Davao is the safest city in the Philippines. Low crime rates, CCTVs, curfews, and no drugs basically. He would also go with death penalty but I don't want to highlight that. He basically support more to military and as he say, shoot to kill to those who will known that are related to drugs. And he also said that he doesn't care if he will go to hell as long as the people he will serve will live the best.

UPDATE: 2017 INFORMATION

So basically, Duterte won. Santiago died because of cancer.
