Katherine's POV :

It was late now . About 7:30 and I didn't care where Jack was but Joseph needed to be feed . And I'm the only one who could feed him .

I was lying in bed just sulking. Then the bedroom door opened .
"Katherine?"
I looked up and saw Jack , he put Joseph in his crib.

"Yes ?" I said .
"Where you in my office today ?"
"Why ?"
"I found one of your Bobby pins "
"Then yes "
"Did you take .... Some letters ?"
"The ones for Violet that you wrote during our engagement? Yes I did I read them all too. "
"Katherine you had no right to !"
"You had no right to talk so horribly about me . Or write her a letter the day of our wedding !"
"We were in a difference place !"Jack protested .
"It was still our wedding day ! "
"Katherine after our wedding day I stopped !"
"But you still wrote her letters !"
"Katherine I was in love with her !"
"Your a liar ! You told me I'm the only women besides Medda who you've loved !" I yelled at him .
"Katherine I didn't think she'd ever show up in my life again -"
"So you thought it'd be okay for you to lie to me ?"
"Katherine I'm sorry . "
"Sorry isn't going to cut it . "
"What do you want me to do ?"
"Kick her out "
"What ?!"
"Get her out of my home . Away from my husband and away from my son "
"Katherine she came here for help"
"What kind of help ?"
"She doesn't want me to talk about it "
"Tell me or else Jack !" I said folding my hands over my chest .
"Katherine-"
"If you want me to forget about those letters you'll tell me and get her out of here "
"She's pregnant "
"Is it yours ?"
"What ? No ! No Katherine! It's not mine . Your the only person I've ever had sex with .... Speaking of which " he said putting a hand on my shoulder .
"Really ?" I asked
"Okay sorry . It's someone we know "
"Who ? The only people we know are Davey and Clara . And Cruthie and Darcy and -"
"Darcy " Jack said nodding .
"No " I said .
"Yes , she wanted help she can't go home . Her mother would kill her !"
"Then get Darcy here . Force them to get married and get her out of my home !" I said .
"Katherine you wouldn't do that to w friend !"
"A friend ? No j would never do that ! An ex-girlfriend yes !" I said
"Katherine I can't -"
"It's like you don't want her to leave ! It's like you don't love me anymore !" I said .

Jack stayed quite "because you don't love me " I said . Jack just hung his head . "And you never did ... " I said . Jack didn't speak instead he grabbed my arm and pulled me to him .
"Let me go " I said . Jack shook his head and held me tighter .
"Jack !"
He pulled away yet held onto my arms .
"I love you so much. You are an amazing person. You're an amazing mother and queen and wife . But Katherine's she's my best friend-"
"I thought I was "
"Katherine-"
"No . I get it . Go -" then Jack kissed me . He kissed me with so much passion and love .
He held me so close and wouldn't let go .
"Please Katherine... I only want to be with you !  But I've got to help her ! I'm the reason why she's pregnant "
"How ?"
"I told Darcy about her and then he lied to her , slept with her and then left her "
"Okay , send her to the private home in Candland we own . She can stay there . With a handful of maids . That's it . You don't like it then I'll leave ... And you'll never see Joseph or I again "
"Okay , I'll send her -"
"You better " I then heard Joseph cry . I picked him up and feed him .

As I feed him Jack went to get changed . He put on his pajamas . I rocked Joseph to sleep and the put him in his crib .

I pulled the covers up and laid in the bed . Jack moved over to me and kissed my forehead. I was still mad at him but I figured he was going to fix it . I snuggled into his side . My arm wrapped around his waist and my head on his chest .
"I love you Katherine "
"I love you too "
"I've always loved you . I always will no matter what . You and Joseph are the only things that matter to me . Let the country crash and burn as long as I have you two I'll be happy "
"Without Violet ?"
"Violet who ?" He said .
I then looked up and kissed him .
"I'll do anything for you " he said .
"Your still not completely forgiven"
"How can I be ?"
"Ditch work tomorrow and stay with Joseph and I "
"How about I do you better and we got to Coney Island?"
"Yes -"
"And your mother and Medda and Jonas can come ?"
"I'd love that so much "
"I love you so much " Jack said . "Goodnight Jack "
"Good night beautiful. Sweet dreams . "
