Katherine's POV :

Father's funeral passed and we were back in the Pulitzer Palace . I was sitting in his old office . Rummaging through his old drawers . "Kath ? Honey ? It suits here " Jack said . I nodded and grabbed my father's old glasses . "I'm gonna miss this palace " "well be back soon . I promise " "do you think Medda will mind that there coming ?" I asked . Jack looked at me and smiled "no , I've already talked to her . She's is very excited about them . She thinks Jonas will give us inspiration for having a child of our own " Jack said . I smiled at him and we walked out . My mother was ready .

"Jack !" Jonas said and Jonas ran quickly go Jack . Jack picked him up . "Hiya Buddy " "Jack ?" "Hm ?" "Can mommy and I live with you and Kathy ? Mommy said something about it " "Yes , you can live with Katherine and me . And my Aunty Medda " "Is she my Aunty Medda ?" Jonas asked him then my mother stepped in "Only if she wants to be" my mother said "I'm pretty sure she would love that " Jack said . Jonas smiled and hugged him again . "Come on bud , we better get in the car . We have to take a plane to New York " "Oh , okay " Jonas said and got off Jack and held my mother's hand .

"How are you so good with him ?" I asked placing a hand on his shoulder "Medda and I used go volunteer at children centers " "That's so sweet , we should do that sometime " I said . Jack kissed my lips . I then pushed him away and ran to my room quickly .

Jacks POV :
"Where's Katherine?" Her mother asked me "I don't know " "oh , I'll call for someone to get her ... Come along Jonas " she said .

We were in the car and we where waiting for Katherine. "Oh there you are dear " her mother said "Katherine? Are you alright ?" I asked her into her ear "I'll talk to you later " she said and tapped my hand .

Once we got off the plane and back to the palace . "Amelia ! Jonas ! Welcome !" Medda said . "Oh , Medda thank you for having us " "It's no problem. I miss having someone to talk to and I just adore children " "After a week with Jonas you'll be tired " Amelia said . The laughed and walked off to the ladies parlor . Jonas looked at me and I had his nanny have him brought up to my old playroom .

Katherine and I walked up to our room . "Katherine what's wrong ?" "I need to talk to you " "honey , you ran up to your room in California. You slept in the plane the whole ride back . You didn't eat anything but ice chips ! Honey what's wrong ? Should I be taking you to the doctors ? Do you need medical treatment? Do I need to carry you the doctors ? Katherine what's wrong ? Are you sick ? Are you okay? Your dad just died and now your sick ! Is this like family history of something ? Katherine I'm worried ! What -" "I'm pregnant " she said .

Jacks POV :
Jack and I walked up to our room . "Katherine what's wrong ?" "I need to talk to you " "honey , you ran up to your room in California. You slept in the plane the whole ride back . You didn't eat anything but ice chips ! Honey what's wrong ? Should I be taking you to the doctors ? Do you need medical treatment? Do I need to carry you the doctors ? Katherine what's wrong ? Are you sick ? Are you okay? Your dad just died and now your sick ! Is this like family history of something ? Katherine I'm worried ! What -" "I'm pregnant " I said . Suddenly his face fell . "You're pre-pre-pregnant ?" Jack said looking at me up and down . "We're gonna have a baby ?!" Jack said . I smiled and nodded . "We're gonna have a baby ?!" Jack said again "Yep " "We're gonna have a baby?!" "I've said yes three times ! Yes a baby ! A little Kelly !" I said .

Quickly Jack came up and hugged me and spun me around . "Put me down ! I'm still a little nauseous!" "Oh Katherine." Then Jack kissed me hard . "Honey , we already made one baby . Let's not try for two " "I'm so happy ! Medda is going to be thrilled !" "Jack wait -" "what ?" "Listen , I wanna keep this between us . Just till the state dinner  . Okay ? " "I can't keep this from her " "Jack , please. I need to go to the doctors and make sure this is for real . Once it is we will tell Medda and all of the country " "but she'll be mad at me " "Jack , she'll be so thrilled ! She won't be upset "

Jack and I walked into the dining room for dinner . "Katherine dear , Amelia told me your sick or something?" Medda said as soon as I sat down "I'm fine , Jack and I went to the doctors. I had some time of small allergic reaction to something . They told me most likely that coconut water we had in the soup mother " I said "oh , well are you going to be okay ?" "Yes , they gave me some medication . " "They said Katherine will be good as new in a day or so" Jack said too .

"Oh , mother , since you love to plan parties and so does Medda . I was hoping that you two would plan the state dinner for this Sunday " "Sunday ? Of course. We have about 6 days so yes !" My mother said "This is going to be so much fun !" Medda said . "Kathy ? Can I help ?" "Yes you can " "how ?" "By helping them pick out a cake " "ooh ! I can help with that ?!" "Yes you can "
