Chapter 12

Katherine's POV :
I came back to my room after a long day with Medda and some staff . We finally were able to get the children's hospital proper funding .

"Jack ?" I said walking in and taking my coat off . "In here " he said I walked and saw him in the bathroom. He had shaving cream on his chin and a razor in his hand . I leaned against the door frame . "I'm saving like you wanted me to " "good " "how did the meeting thingy go ?" "Good , proper funding , but in 4 months we need to make an appearance in Vermont for the reopening " I said . "Okay sounds good " he said moving the razor down his chin . "So are we gonna try tonight ?" Jack said . I was shaken out of my thoughts . "What ?" "Are we gonna try ?" "Try for ? Oh " "yeah , a baby " "yeah we'll try . But I only hope it's not as awkward as our wedding night " I said twisting my wedding ring around . "Okay , just let me finish and we'll start " "okay "

This by far is the weirdest thing I've ever had to do as a royal ! I mean less weird than making a toast at my brothers wedding with a glass full of snails and hot pepper sauce.... French Traditional thingy.

I didn't know how we were going to do this . I just got off any difficult things . Like a necklace and my panty hose. "Kath ?" "Bed" I said . My hands felt sweaty and my breathing was faster . "Okay " he said . We sat across from each other . "Maybe if we take off our clothes well want to ?" He said looking at the ground . We both got undressed and looked at each other in our underwear. Jack went over to me . He laid me down just like our wedding night .

He was on top  of me and undid my bra. He then threw the bra to the floor. Next he took off his boxers and my underwear. Quickly he went into me . It wasn't like other times . Like other times the second it started we couldn't keep our hands off each other . He finished and got out and dressed .

He put a fresh pair of boxers then pajamas on . "Aren't you going to get dressed?" Jack asked . I nodded and put my underwear and nightgown on . That was the worst thing ever !

We both under the covers and went to sleep . Jack didn't put a hand over my waist like usual. We may have just created a child the most awkward way possible.

I woke up earlier than Jack . It was 5:45 am . Jack was still curled up in a ball . I got my robe and put it on. My feet touched the cold concrete of the balcony. The wind was strong and my nightgown and robe moved around against my legs . The sun was still down . I sat down on the small chair out there .

Slowly the sun started to rise . The wind got colder and closed so I quickly pulled my knees to my chest and pulled my nightgown over my feet . The cold air made tears fall down my face. "Katherine?" I blinked away the tears and saw Jack standing in the doorway . "Hi " "um , how are you ?" Jack asked sitting down at the end of my chair . "Okay , you ?" "Okay " "good " "yeah " "um , what are you doing up so early?" Jack asked "nothing I couldn't sleep so I came out here " I said .

Jack then went back inside . "Wha ?" "Tea ?" He said handing me a cup "thank you " I said taking the cup from him . He sat down next to me and put an arm around me .

"Jack ?" "Hm ?" "Can you promise me something?" "Sure ?" "Promise me we won't ever do that .... Like that again " "I promise . But hey , we may have created a human " "we may have but I rather not think about it " "okay ... What do you have planned today ?" "Um .... Nothing I can think of . You ?" "A new law for drivers that all " "oh how low will it take you ?" "Well normally ? About two hours . But now that parliament is up my ass the whole day " "oh , I'm sorry " "it's okay . It's not like we can do anything ...." "Um . Are we going to that again tonight ?" "I mean it might double our chances . " "oh okay . " "I mean if you don't want to -" "no let's get it over with " I said setting the cup of tea down . "Katherine I understand that this is super awkward-" "Jack we have to do what we have to do " "I know . But maybe . Maybe . Maybe we can .... Maybe we can see a doctor ? Ask them if they have any methods " "yeah . I can do that today . " "okay " "yeah . I think it's 6 shouldn't you be getting ready ?" I asked him . "Yeah I do .... Katherine?" "Hm ?" "As soon as you get pregnant we're going back to Hawaii . " "can we do that ?" "Sure ! Tell parliament we want alone time before the baby comes " "okay . So what we're working for here is Hawaii not a baby " "hey if that's your motivation " Jack said teasing . "Shutup and get ready " I said . He smiled at me and walked inside . About 20 seconds later I heard the news .

I crawled back to bed and watched the news and Jack took a shower . More stuff on celebrity babies and new movies and people making discovers . Jack came in out with his hair wet yet a suit on . He went to his drawer and looked in them . "Kath ? Where's my blue tie ?" "Which blue tie ?" "The blue one !" "Your being so descriptive right now !" "My blue tie !" "I'm asking what blue tie " "the blue one I wore !" "When did you wear it ?" "I -" "Jack ?" "Hm ?" "You mean the tie in your hand ?" "Tie in my . Oh " he said . He chuckled and I did his tie for him . "There " "okay , I'll see you " I said z Jack grabbed my head and kissed my forehead . "Bye Jack "
