Chapter 3

Katherine's POV:

Jack and walked down the halls of the palace . "When I was younger I used to chase Luis and Darcy down these halls when they would interrupt my lessons with my mother " I said and held onto his hand . "That sounds .... Fun " he said . I nudged his side and he chuckled . We walked down the halls until we got to royal paintings .

We walked down and at the end was Jack and I on our wedding day . His hand was around my waist and my face had a forced smile . Jack seemed to be a little stiff . "Look at this , it's a photo of my father and mother when I was born , my father looks scared out of his mind ! " I said .

"Jack ? Katherine?" Said a small voice . We turned and saw Jonas standing there. "Jonas !" I said I bent down and he came running to me and gave me a big hug . "I kissed you Kathy !" "I missed you too ! You've gotten big some day you'll be as tall as Luis " I said and kissed his cheek . "No ! I wanna be as tall Jack ! Remember he's 6'3 and Katherine is very short !" He said . Jack bent down to his level and smiled "Katherine is a shorty huh ?" "Yep ! She's very tiny ! I'm almost taller her than her !" "Are not !" I said and I stood up . "Katherine?" I turned and saw my mother .

My mother walked towards Jack and I . "Oh look at you " she said and engulfed me into a bone crushing hug . "Hi mom " "you're so beautiful " she said and put her hands on my cheeks . "She is " Jack said . I rolled my eyes . Jack smiled at me . My mother let me go and then hugged Jack . "Mom , mom , MOTHER ! YOUR CRUSHING MY HUSBAND!" I said . She let go and kissed his cheek . "Come , come ," my mother said and grabbed my hand and jacks . She pulled us to her office .

"So ! How was Hawaii ?" "Great mom " "It was wonderful Amelia " "Pish , posh ! Jackson were family call me mom " "okay , mom it was wonderful " Jack said . I put my hand on his . "Lovely , now Katherine dear Luis will be here tomorrow " "Wonderful" "Perhaps Jack and Luis can go hunting ! And bring your father along too " "Mom , Jack doesn't hunt , and Luis doesn't enjoy the sport only father likes it " "Oh ," "and Katherine and I are going to take Jonas to a baseball game . I heard he likes it , it's my favorite sport " "Oh ! That sounds great ! And maybe we'll have to have an old fashioned baseball game ! Like when Katherine was younger ! " "I don't know about that mom I mean I'm queen now I can't go around sliding into home " "well why don't we have someone run for you ?" "I'm okay , but I'll watch. It would be amusing to see Jack throw a ball " "hey !" "Am I missing something Dear ?" My mother asked . "When Jack and I where at he pier he kept missing the bottles when we played a game " "to be fair it was rigged " "was not I made it one shot !" "Well I got you ready " "Surrereee" I said . He smiled at me and I took his arm .

"Your majesties , your highness . Dinner will be ready in 20 minutes " a maid says . My mother dismissed her and she went away . It was odd to hear "your highness " and it not being addressed to me but my mother . But I suppose we'll all have to get used to that . Especially my father . That man would let pride kill him .... And trust me it has almost happen . "Well dears I'm going to fetch your father , Katherine? Why don't you show Jack some more I'll see you in the dinning hall " "bye " I said . My mother walked out and went to my father's office .

"So , I guess ....-" Jack then Dipped me and kissed me. "What was that for ?" I asked blushing . "I don't know ... Couldn't help myself " "Well you're gonna have to while we're here . This palace isn't like ours back home . No funny business!" "What ?!" "No kissing in the halls , no matter what! No making out with me in a living room ! Nothing of that sorts ! We have to keep it all behind closed doors ! And especially since Jonas is so young ! My father would kill me if Jonas caught us in the middle of something and then asked about the birds and the bees " "Really ? You're not over exaggerating ?" "No I swear ! My aunt Mabel , my father's sister , came to visit and she was in the gardens with her husband and they were full blown making out ! Luis and I didn't know so we asked our father . Long story short her husband was never invited to family events ! EVER !" "Okay I get it , save till we get in the room " "good ! Even if we're alone in the library you can't push it ! Understand?" "Perfectly !" "Good ! Now come on we'll be late for dinner "

We sat down at dinner . The meal was excellent as usual and it was fun to be back home . I didn't feel out of place in this hall . And I doubt Jack did too . He and my father kept cracking jokes all night . Kinda funny .  "That was a lovely meal " my mother said and smiled . "It was " my father said . Jonas yawned and started to fall asleep at the table . And quite frankly no one had the heart to tell him it was improper to do so but it was late . It was 11:48 way past his bedtime . "Joseph dear can you carry him to bed ?" My mother asked my father . "Don't worry , Katherine and I will put him to bed " Jack said . "Are you sure ?" "100 percent " "alright " my mother said .

Jack and I brought Jonas to bed and changed him to pajamas and tucked him in . "Ready for bed ?" "Very much " my husband said putting an arm around my waist . I smiled and we walked to my room . Quickly changed and we hopped into the warm bed . "So you grew up in the room ?" "Yeah" "it's not as pink as I would think " "you've thought about my room ?" "No , I just assumed " "oh , well it's late and I want to sleep " "then come here " Jack said . I cuddled into his arms and closed my eyes , but not before getting a passionate kiss on the lips . "I love Queen Katherine Sophia Pulitzer-Kelly " "and I love you King
Jackson Alexander Kelly" I said and closed my eyes . 

Sorry for the short chapter but I needed them to Get to the palace . Anyways these next two weeks I probably will only update on the weekends cause school , choir , and my family's restaurant , 5 people quit because they all left from the holiday rush so now it's just family and a few employees... INCLUDING MY BOYFRIEND!!!!!!
