Chapter 5

*ANNA'S POV* ~TRIGGER WARNING~

I told the guys I was going to go take a shower and asked if one of them could help me set it up. It was so different form the orphanage showers. Josh got up and said he would help so I followed and he turned it on (😏) and he saw I had the book he saw I had earlier he was about to ask so I started taking off my jacket and he nodded and left. Finally I was alone, I took off my clothes revealing my jagged cuts all across my body, some new, some old. I started picking at some new ones causing them to bleed and then grabbed my hollowed out book and grabbed a razor and started making new ones across my wrists and back... I winced every time but let out a sigh. I finally got in the shower but it was too hot and I let out a little scream as the hot water hit my open wounds. I turned the knobs to make it the right temperature and got in. As soon as I got in I heard a knock, it was Tyler. "Are you ok?? What happened?" He sounded really worried. "I'm ok the water was just too hot." I said. "Ok!" I heard him walk off after that. All the shampoo and body was they had was for men so I was forced to use that. After my shower I couldn't find the towels so I had to yell so I yelled for Tyler this time. "Tyler can you get me a towel!" " Sure thing Anna I'll be there in a sec!" He said back. "Ok!" I said. *knock knock* "It's me Tyler can I come in?" "Yea." I said as he opened the door and he placed it on the sink counter. he saw my book and slowly went to open but hesitated and stopped then he left I got out and went to dry off.

*TYLER'S POV*

I heard Anna call to me and ask for a towel so I went and got one. As I walked in I saw her book I wanted to open it so badly but the I thought about her personal space so after that I left her to dry off and get changed. I told Josh about how I almost opened the book and told me not to try again. About 5 minuets later I saw Anna come out and go to her bunk to put her stuff away. She then walked to the couch me and Josh were sitting on and came and sat down between us. She sat there for a few moments and then looked up at me and I smiled and she smiled back and then she rested her head on y shoulder and Josh quickly snapped a picture. We started watching tv and after the first episode of Supernatural she was asleep so I picked her up bridal style and took her to her bunk. I carefully took off her jacket to reveal something I thought I would never have seen on her arms. She had cuts all over her wrists and arms. I started to feel tears then I got up to tell Josh but he had already saw it and was getting teary eyed too. I walked over to Josh and said we should get to bed. So we both went over and kissed her forehead goodnight.
