Chapter 39

*ANNA'S POV*

"Ow quit pulling on my hair." I said. "I'm sorry." Shannon said. "Its ok." I said. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled. Alex was almost done with my makeup. It was a simple cat eye, mascara, a little blush, and some red lipstick. Shannon was doing a braided bun and it looked great so far! Pretty soon they were both done and I went to go get my dress on. It was a black. The dress had some lace on it, but it was a pretty simple dress. Then for my shoes, I chose black converse because no way in hell am I wearing heels... I slipped on the dress and then my shoes. I looked at my phone. 10:00pm. It was 30 minuets till showtime! I walked out of the bathroom to show the girls and they gasped when they saw me and said I was really pretty. I thanked them and then we headed to the stage. When we got there everyone was there. All of MDE, my dad and Josh, Uncle Brendon, even PTV was there! I walked up the stairs and everyone was speechless then Tyler walks over and gives me a big hug, I hugged back. "Good luck." He whispered. I just hugged him even tighter then all of a sudden I feel more people surrounding me and it ends up being a giant group hug. The hug ended and Tyler FaceTimed Jenna. She answered. "Hi mom!" I said. she said hello back and we ended up talking until I had to go on stage and sing. Tyler ended the FaceTime so he could take a video. I walked onto the stage with Josh, I got to the piano and Josh went to his drums. The stage lights dimmed and I began to play. My fingers touching the keys felt like magic! My voice came out smoothly. Soon the song was over and I took a bow, but the show was not over... I grabbed the microphone and walked to center stage. " As you all know I was in the hospital last year around Christmas... Most of you know that I had a concussion, but none of you know the real reason why I got a concussion... This may be a shock to all of you, but i used to cut myself." As I said that a huge gasp came from the crowd. "So how I got the concussion was I was in the bathroom and I was cutting myself...A LOT! I lost too much blood and when i went to go stand up I fainted and hit my head on the sink counter... Now you're all probably wondering why I cut, as you all know Tyler adopted me, but before that I had a very abusive father. He would torture me and say it was my fault for my birth mothers death." When I said that I started tearing up "After I ran away I found out he was arrested. Soon after that I got a letter saying that he would find me one day and take me back... Well that one day was in London. He found out i was in London from my Instagram post... He took me away from the airport and brought me back to an abandoned house he was probably staying in... But in the end Tyler and Josh found me! And without their help I probably would've still been in that hell hole of an orphanage! So that song I just sang was about surviving and always looking on the bright side." I was still tearing up and I looked over at Josh and saw that he was tearing up too. He walked over to me and gave me a big hug. We looked at the crowd and gave our final bow. We walked off stage and did another group hug. Tyler and Josh still had to play so they ran out and began to play. After they were done playing we all headed back to the bus and had a mini party. I had a bunch of Redbulls and fruit snacks! I can't believe that today was our last day and that tomorrow we would be leaving and that in a month we'll be back on tour. Pretty soon I will be a big sister!!

School just ended and I have been really busy so far this summer! I will try and update as much as I can! I PROMISE CAUSE I LOVE WRITING THIS STORY FOR ALL OF YOU!!!
