Chapter 16

*JOSH'S POV*

I woke up to Anna cuddling right next to me. I then remembered we were home. I got up and walked downstairs to see Jenna making coffee and waffles, Anna's favorite food... "Hey Jenna." I sat while walking down stairs into the basement. She nods and waves. I go to the store room behind the home movie theater and grab a tape measure for the tool box. I run back to my room and Anna is still sleeping. I run up to her new room to measure it. Now I've got the measurements I put them in my phone for later. I go and wake up Tyler, but he just goes back to sleep. I go back to h room and decide to go back to sleep.

*ANNA'S POV*

I woke up to see Josh in a very awkward position. He's on his stomach, his knee tucked under his stomach and his other leg off the bed. I laugh then look around and remember we came home last night. I then smell something and go down to the kitchen. Before I walk through the door I see a woman I don't know making waffles. I walk through the door and she goes to say something as she starts walking up to me but I run and yell "DAD THERES A LADY IN THE KITCHEN MAKING WAFFLES!" He runs out of his bathroom with shaving cream on half of his face and Josh walks out with really bad bed head. I run over to Tyler and hug him. I hear the lady walk up the stairs and I push them both into the bathroom and lock the door. I look at Tyler and Josh whispered to Tyler that Jenna was in the kitchen making waffles. Then Tyler says " Anna calm down that's just my wife." "You're WIFE?! You have a WIFE?!" I say "I thought you knew..." He said " no I didn't the bitch back at the orphanage only let me look up songs..." I said back and with that I unlocked the door looked at Jenna and grabbed my bag and ran up to my room and sat down on the floor. I grabbed my actual book and started to read. It was kinda cold up here so I looked for my sweater. Shit it was downstairs. I quietly went down my stairs and then made sure the coast was clear. Now was my chance, I ran out but was grabbed from behind and pulled into Tyler's room. I started kicking and crying as Tyler set me down on the bed and said "calm down Anna." "Calm down? You want me to calm down!? Ok." I said then I just fell back and went limp. He kept talking but I wasn't listening. I finally sat up and said " I think I reacted quite perfectly for someone who was told that their own dad had a wife 4 months after they were adopted! I think I just need some fresh air!" I yelled running out of the room. I grabbed my phone and earbuds, my sweater, and my penny board. I put on my shoes and grabbed a waffle and ran out the door. I decided to go to the park down the road. When I got there I texted Shannon and Alex and asked if the wanted to come down to the park. They said yes and 5 minutes later I saw Alex's car drive down the road. They got out and I called them lazy and we all laughed at it. I looked at my phone and saw it was July 1st. 3more days till the 4th of July. We ran over to the jungle gym and started to play, we got strange looks, but I didn't care I was strange in general. The we sat down and told them all about this morning. They agreed, then my phone went off. It was Tyler and Josh texting me. They both asked where I was, I responded with somewhere... Then Tyler texted me telling me I better be home. I texted maybe I'll come home. He texted back I looked down and saw I was still in last nights clothes, whatever. I said " want to go the beach? It's only 10 minutes away," "sure." They both said and with that we headed to the beach. We finally go there and we stayed for about half an hour. Then  Tyler texted me saying he was going to call the cops to come and pick me up. I panicked and told the girls we have to come home quick. I got home and tried to sneak in. I found a tree that lead to my window in the attic. I as good at climbing since I had to climb up to my bunk during the tour I quickly opened my window and slid onto the floor. I pulled the leaves out of my hair, then shut my window and walked downstairs to see all of the at the table. They all looked up and Tyler and Josh got up and ran over to hug me. "Why the fuck didn't you tell me you were leaving?!?!" He says " I did" I say. He just gives me a confused look. " I said I was going to get some air like outside?" I say back. "You don't have to worry anymore can we go shopping?"  "Yeah sure." Josh says grabbing his keys. Finally we head to the store.
