"Dia please sit down."

"Is daddy picking me up today?"

"If he doesn't don't worry about it okay? I'll come and pick you up."

I finished putting her hair in a bun then kissed her nose.

"Mommy, why aren't you and daddy together anymore?"

"Daddy did something bad and mommy doesn't want to get back together anymore."

"Okay. Can I see auntie T and C today?"

"Maybe. I'll see if they're free. I need to drop you off to your dad."

I went to the kitchen and then heard someone knock on the door.

"Who the hell is that."

I walked to the door and opened it.

"Hey Nic."

"I dead ass thought you were Trey. I was about to close the door in your phone but that you doing here?"

"I was wondering if I could take Di to school. If you don't mind."

"I don't. I don't have anything against you. It's your brother. Be safe with my baby Trevor. I'm serious."

"Now you know I wouldn't let anything to happen to her Nicki."

"India! Come on!"

"Uncle T!"

"Hey baby girl. I'm taking you to school today."

When he said that, a smile appeared on her face and she hugged him.

"Give mommy a kiss."

She kissed my cheek and I gave Trevor a hug.

"You know how your brother is Trev."

"If he don't pick her up I will. Don't stress it. Tell Meek I said what's up."

"I will."

I walked out the door, locking it and went to my car. I was texting Sherika and then I got a message from Meek.

Meek:Can you get me some coffee? I'll pay you back.

I was going to get some. I'll get you one. I text back

"Move again and I'm cutting your hair Maria. I'm not playing."

"You're being a grouch today."

"And you won't sit still and be quiet."

"Meek leave that girl alone. Shouldn't be at the school?", Na said.

"I would be if she would've sat still."

"I'm going to ask this question cause it's probabyly why you're acting like this. Did you have your coffee this morning?"

"Nope."

"Knew it. Go to your job before you get fired."

"They won't fire me. They can't."

"They can. They just don't want too."

"Bye Na. Maria!"

She walked in pouting and her arms crossed.

"I would be lying if I said you don't look like your mom right now. Come here."

"You were being mean."
