"I think that's the last of the stuff.", Meek said.

We just got back from shopping for India so she has stuff over Meek's house.

"So what do we do now?", I asked.

"Well our parents took the girls out for the day. I want you to go tell that nigga India isn't his."

"Meek I can't do that."

"Why the hell not? She not his."

"He was there all her life."

"Wait I'm confused. You talking about the dude who forgot about his daughter? Made her cry?"

He walked towards me and made me back into the wall and he put his arms out so I wouldn't go anywhere.

"I want you to tell Trey that my daughter isn't his. Understand?"

He looked me in the eyes and I nodded.

"Good. Go."

"I can't get a hug?"

"Nah. Do what I said first and maybe you'll get one."

"You can't be serious Meek."

"Very."

I sighed then walked out the house. I sent a text to Trey asking if he could come to my house and he responded immediately saying yes.

"Let me get this out the way."

-

I pulled up and saw a Treys' car in my driveway. I got out and so did he.

"Hey Nicki."

"Hey Trey. Lets go inside so we can talk."

I opened the door and he waited for me to walk inside and he closed the door behind him. I put the keys on the table by the door and walked in the living room. I sat down on the couch and he sat on the other one.

"I guess I'll go first.", I said.

"I already know. India isn't mine."

"How'd you know?"

"I took her a couple years ago to get a paternity test and it came out negative."

"I'm sorry Trey. That night was just hectic."

"I know. It's alright. You guys made an amazing baby by the way."

"Thank you. So did Crystal tell you anything last night?"

He shook his head and I shook my head.

"Is there something that I haven't been told yet?"

"Maybe. It's not really my place to tell."

"At least you told me something's going on. I'm about to head out. I wish you and Meek the best. You deserve it. I'm sorry for all I put you through and India. You deserve someone better than me."

"I've already forgiven you. Hopefully you find your soulmate soon. I wish you the best T."

I gave him a hug then walked him to the door. I locked the door then went into the kitchen. It was quiet in the house which I'm not really used to. Their was a knock on the door and I didn't move. The person kept on knocking and I just kept on eating my food. Wait. Do I still have that key under the mat?
