October 10th

Pensacola, FL

Onika "Nicki" Maraj

"I just got back home. I'm not going out tonight.", Meek said on the phone.

I smiled and finished setting up the table for dinner.

"Babe come get Chapo!"]

I giggled and went in the living room. Chapo was trying to chew on Meek's slides and Meek was trying to kick him away.

"Don't kick the baby."

"He's not a baby. He is a dog."

I rolled my eyes and went to the kitchen. I sat him on the kitchen part and went in the pantry to get his food.

"India and Maria! Time to eat!", I yelled.

I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and Chapo started barking.

"Oh shut up. It's just the kids."

"You're so mean to him Meek. Stop."

"Well tell him to stop chewing up everything. I allowed to let him tear up the couch. That's good enough."

I rolled my eyes and poured the dog food in the bowl then set it on the floor.

"There you go. Eat up. Say grace girls."

They put their head down and said grace then started eating.

"After she eats I'm going back home."

"For what?"

"I don't have anymore clothes babe. India does but I don't."

"Then move in. You're always over here everyday. You might as well move in."

"I don't know. I kinda still want to stay here. I just moved in that house."

"Alright. Let me know when you're ready."

"I will."

He wrapped his arms around me from behind and we watched the girls eat.

-

"Come on babygirl. We have to go home."

"But I want to stay over here. Why can't we move in?"

"Cause mommy wants to stay at her house for a little bit longer."

"Okay. Can we come over later?"

"You always can princess.", Meek said.

"Yay!"

She ran over to Meek and he picked her up. We walked out the house and India was falling asleep on Meek's shoulder.

"Looks like you'll be putting her in the car."

He looked at India and chuckled.

"I guess I am. Let me do that now. I need to talk to you real quick."

I nodded and he put her in the car and put her seat belt on. I leaned on the railing and he walked towards me.

"So let's talk about this whole moving in thing."

"What about it?"

"Did you ever move in with Trey?", he asked and I nodded.

"Worst experience ever. That's why I don't like moving in with people."

"Well it would be different with me. Think about it ma."

He put something in my hand and it was a key.
