So in this little time gap, I agreed to move in with Meek and India was excited. We moved in on the 10th and we just got done unpacking everything. India & Maria love the fact that they're together all the time.

"Mommy, daddy asked if you could could come upstairs.", India said.

"Tell him I said one minute. I'm making y'all something to eat.", I said and she ran off.

I heard Chapo running down the stairs which meant Meek was coming down the stairs. I turned the stove off and I felt arms wrap around me.

"Morning baby.", he said.

I smiled and turned around and kissed him.

"Ew.", Maria said.

We laughed and got the plates and sat them down on the table.

"Come on kids. Come eat."

They ran to the table, said grace, and started digging in.

"You made your decision for Thanksgiving?", I asked.

"Yeah. I'll go with you.", he said and I smiled.

He smiled and wrapped his arms around me.

"One word thing said wrong, I'm leaving."

"Okay."

He kissed my cheek and we watched the kids eat.

"Mommy, can I get a new toy?", Maria asked.

"What kind?"

"A stuffed dog. Daddy said he would get it yesterday but he didn't."

I nodded and went to go get dressed. About an hour later, I walked downstairs and I saw Meek walking in the house, on the phone with a bag in his hand.

"Here you go Maria. Why you dressed?"

"Cause she asked if she could go get her toy since you forgot yesterday."

"Nah I didn't forget, I was just tired. My bad though."

"I didn't get dressed for nothing. We're going somewhere. Lets go kids."

"Where we going?", Meek asked.

"Just a walk in the neighborhood."

He nodded and put his gun in the holster.

"Is that needed?"

"Hell yeah. Either we don't go or we go with it. Which one?"

I rolled my eyes and walked out the house, holding the girls hands. Meek grabbed Chapo's leash and we started walking.

"It feels so good out here. The breeze and everything.", I said.

"I like seeing the sunset. Can we see it later?", India said.

"Of course we can. The sunset is always pretty."

She smiled and they skipped in front of us. Meek grabbed my hand and I laid my head on his arm.

"They're getting tall.", Meek said and I nodded.

"They're going to get their daddies height."

"Nah, they can have your height. I don't want them as tall as me."

I laughed and he smiled then Chapo started barking.

"He's loud daddy.", Maria said.

"He saw something. You know he can't help it.", he said.

"He's going to be tall babe. I can already see it."

"That won't make me scared of him. Height don't matter."

We walked to the park and the girls ran off to the playground and Meek & I sat down on the bench, taking Chapo off the leash.

"Watch Chapo! Make sure he don't run off!"

"Okay!"

Robert "Meek" Williams

My phone vibrated and I looked at it. It was from a unknown number.

Watch out for your babymom and kids. I'm coming for you Meek.

I sent a text to O & Tak then locked my phone back up.

"What made you decide to be a gym teacher?", Nicki asked.

"Kids need to know the importance of their health. They take it for granted but our students don't. They like exercising and stuff like that."

"Cause you're the teacher. They like you."

"True but also cause I'm not as strict like the other teachers. I let the kids socialize and be on their phones. Not all the time, but when I see that they've been doing good."

"That sounds like a good teacher."

"I try. What about you Ms. Maraj?"

"I liked exercising when I was little. I liked to run around the gym, play basketball, volleyball, or anything. If it involved in working out, I would like to do it."

"So you've been thick your whole life?"

I laughed and she shook her head laughing.

"No fool. I've been thick ever since freshman year. I was getting asked out everyday. It was ridiculous."

"I'm guessing Trey was one of those people who asked you out?", I asked and she rolled her eyes.

"He asked me out, but we were just friends and then later on we took it to that level. We really never talked about marriage. After I turned him down the second time, he never asked again."

"Well I know when I ask, it's going to be the last time cause you're going to say yes."

"Oh really? What makes you so sure?"

"You wouldn't be sitting next to me right now."

She laughed then stopped when she realized I wasn't laughing.

"Oh you were serious."

"Deadass. If I'm dating you, I would be expected to get married. I think about forever type of shit. Not none of that temporary stuff. You feel me?"

"Yeah. That's the same thing I was thinking about while I was in high school cause some of the boys that asked me out, we're just on temporary stuff. They never thought about forever."

"Some people are seasonal. You stay away from those people. Go with the roots of the tree. The roots don't go anywhere but the leaves do."

"I'm thirsty.", Maria said out of breath.

"Come on girls. Time to go back home. Chapo!"

He ran back over to us and followed us walking to the house. Meek opened the door and we walked in and went in the kitchen.

"That was a nice talk. We should have talks like that more often.", I said and he nodded.

"Now we will since you like them."

I smiled and he kissed my forehead.
