"Hey Na. Take those tables out there. Ma put Chapo somewhere."

I walked back in the house and saw Maria watching tv.

"Hey daddy's birthday girl.

I picked her up and threw her in the air.

"You ready for your birthday party?"

"Yes! Is India coming back?"

"Yep. She just had to change."

"Can I play with Chapo?"

"Yeah go ahead."

I watched people setting up the decorations and then heard somebody knock on the door. I went and opened it and saw Crystal.

"Why you here?"

"I already missed 6 birthdays. I don't want to miss anymore."

"I don't know."

"Meek who was at the do-. Oh. It's you.", Kathy said.

"Please Meek."

"I'm most likely going to regret this but come in."

I opened the door wider so she could come in and then I closed it and saw Na walked towards me.

"So what are you going to tell Nicki when she sees your babymama here?", Na asked.

"She's only here for her birthday Na. Then she leavin."

"Watch her get attached to Crystal.", Kathy said.

"Might as well introduce them to each other now. I'll be back."

I walked past Crystal and went up the stairs to Maria's room to see her watching TV and Chapo sleeping in his bed.

"Maria I want you to meet someone. Chapo you stay and don't tear anything up."

I closed the door behind her then picked her up and walked down the stairs. Crystal turned around and looked at us and she smiled. I put Maria down and Crystal walked up to her.

"Hi. I'm Crystal."

"My middle name is Crystal and daddy told me my mommy's name was Crystal."

She looked at me then her and looked like she was about to cry.

"Wait. Your my mommy? Daddy I thought you said she was dead. You both lied.:

"Baby I did-."

"Leave me alone!"

I watched her run upstairs and I ran my hand over my face.

"See. That's why I didn't want you to come."

"Meek why is she here?", I heard Nicki ask.

I looked at her and she had a pissed look on her face.

"Why don't we give them some privacy you guys. Come on India.", Kathy said.

I watched them walk outside and I went to grab Nicki's hand but she moved away.

"Talk first."

"Look, I didn't think she would actually come."

"Meek. That's your ex wife plus your daughters birthday is today. You didn't think that she wouldn't have came?"
