I woke up with Xyenna on my side and a few texts on my phone. I slowly got up from the bed carefully trying not to wake her. I walk over to my window while checking my phone. I start to pace back and forth waiting for the screen to load my messages that waited to be read.

Sid: Hey come meet me near the river please. I have something important to tell you.
Sid: Please come. I'm waiting.  It's really important.

I put on a jacket and lay a blanket on Xyenna before leaving. I hop out of my window and start jogging towards the lake. Hoping I wasn't too late. As I'm fast walking I try to steadily text her back saying
Me: I'm On my way!
I start to see her through the trees standing on the wet sand kicking at it gently, looking down at her black shoes in her red leather jacket waiting nervously for me.
"Hey!" I yell grabbing her attention. She barely smiles at me, her char black hair blows into her face and she pulls her hair back and looks down. I get worried as I walk closer to her. "Hey what's wrong?"  I ask worried.
As I got closer she immediately grabbed my face and locked her lips on mine. I enjoyed the fast kiss for a second, I immediately snapped and panicked.
"Hey! What are you doing?!" I stood back immediately as I broke forcefully.
"I li-" she stops mid sentence, I saw her eyes twinkle like tears were going to spill. She starts to run the other direction.
"You what?!" I get scared for a minute and turn to see no one around. I run after her "Hey Sid! tell me!" She turns a corner and I lose her. I breathe heavily,  slump in failure, and start walking back home questioning the situation that just happened. As I'm walking I see a couple of kids from my school walking the opposite direction from me and on the other side of the street. I immediately freeze, shaking a bit. Thoughts of what they did to me in the past run through me, the pain comes swarming in. Their steps growing closer. And closer. I hide behind the nearest thing I could hide behind, bushes. They walk past and cross the street. I still wait for the air to clear.  I wait until they've gone into the sunset.  I sigh a breath of relief and walk slowly back. Tearing up to the pain and hurt they've cause me and what they could've done if they saw me. I take a deep breath and take another looking back before I start running home.

I arrive home breathing heavily from the run and walk towards my window and peek in. Xyenna's gone. Confusion fills my face and then I remember my phone was on silent. I pull out my phone from the back pocket of my jeans. I see a couple messages and the first one that comes across my eye.

     Sid: I'm sorry....
